    Abstract: An apparatus comprising at least one extendable hard drive drawer for replacement and maintenance of at least one hard drive. The apparatus comprises a chassis comprising a front side and a rear side, and a first hard drive carrier and a second hard drive carrier housed within the chassis. The first hard drive carrier can be housed at the front side of the chassis, and the second hard drive carrier can be located behind the first hard drive carrier. The first hard drive carrier and the second hard drive carrier can each be adapted to house at least one hard drive. The first hard drive carrier can be adapted to slide from a closed position to a first open position, and from the first open position to a second open position, such that the second hard drive carrier can be accessed in the second open position.

    Abstract: The interlocking device for a tray in a supporting structure while enabling the tray to be removed from the supporting structure. The tray can include a device that engages with at least one engaging device in the supporting structure. The tray is inserted into the supporting structure using the guide or other engaging device. When the tray is fully inserted into the supporting structure, the tray can be secured to the supporting structure by the interlocking device. The interlocking device secures the tray to the supporting structure by a locking mechanism that selectively engages a first recess and a handle that selectively engages a second recess in the supporting structure. When the tray is to be removed from the supporting structure, the interlocking device disengages from the first and second recesses and enables the tray to be removed without interference of the tray and the supporting structure.

    Abstract: A tray assembly configured for carrying a storage device is provided. The tray assembly includes a carrier, a base frame, a handle and a connecting rod. The carrier carries the storage device. The base frame slidably connects with the carrier, allowing the carrier to slide between a first position and a second position relative to the base frame. The base frame includes a locking part and the handle pivots to the base frame. Two ends of the connecting rod respectively pivot to the carrier and the handle. When the handle rotates relative to the base frame and drives the carrier to slide to the first position, the carrier is carried on the base frame and the handle locks up with the locking part. When the handle rotates relative to the base frame and drives the carrier to slide to the second position, the carrier tilts relative to the base frame.

    Abstract: A drive tray assembly is disclosed for placing drives (e.g., hard disk drives) in a computer chassis in a rotated orientation and without the need for additional tools. A tray base holding a drive can be slid into a receiving space of the chassis in a longitudinal direction. An installation lever rotatably attached to the tray base includes a shaft that engages a corresponding receiving slot of the receiving space. After the tray base is inserted, rotation of the installation lever to a closed position causes the tray base, and thus the drive, to move in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. A release lever rotatably attached to the tray base can secure the installation lever in the closed position until the release lever is rotated, freeing the installation lever to move to the open position in which the drive tray may be removed from the chassis.

    Abstract: A die-cast cooling device for protecting a computer assembly is disclosed.
