摘要: Charged-particle-beam microlithography apparatus and methods are disclosed that reduce spherical aberrations and other aberrations of the beam without increasing blurring from Coulomb effects or space-charge effects. The beam semi-angle of the beam as incident on the reticle and/or substrate is limited to a range greater than zero but less than an upper limit, so as to remove paraxial portions of the beam. Also, the substrate can be moved as required along the optical axis to place the substrate at the optimal image plane where beam spreading from spherical aberration is minimal. The beam semi-angle is preferably limited by passage of the beam through an annular aperture placed axially upstream of the substrate. A preferred range for beam semi-angle at the reticle is 1.5 to 3 mrad. Alternatively, at least six deflectors are disposed on the reticle side of a scattering aperture located in the projection-optical system, and at least three deflectors are disposed on the substrate side of the scattering aperture to simultaneously correct, respectively, deflection-induced image-plane inclination, deflection coma, deflection astigmatism, deflection chromatic aberration, deflection-induced secondary distortion (x and y directions), axial propagation of the beam through the scattering aperture, incidence of the beam at a target position on the substrate, and zero angle of incidence of the beam on the substrate.

摘要: This invention provides a method of weighing powder/chip, in which the powder/chip can be fed from the conduit into the weighing vessel accurately and efficiently without being affected by the state of the conduit, that of the weighing vessel and that of ambient air. With the method, the powder/chip is weighed by means of the conduit arranged below a storage section and adapted to be tilted around a pivot according to a command sent from a weighing section to let the powder/chip fall through a discharge port at an end of the conduit into a weighing vessel placed on the weighing section. The conduit is tilted sequentially at least by three different feeding angles from large, small to minute to let the powder/chip fall by a large volume, a small volume and a minute volume respectively.

摘要: In a signal processing unit for writing/reading data on/from a disk-shaped recording medium of a disk apparatus, all of a data separator, a code decoder circuit, a code encoder and a write compensation circuit are constructed on a one-chip integrated circuit. The data separator separates a synchronization clock from a code data reproduced from the disk. The code decoder circuit produces decoded data from the synchronization clock as the output from the data separator, and synchronized code data. The code encoder encodes data supplied from a host computer or a disk controller into code data. The write compensation circuit compensates for a peak shift with respect to write code data. This integrated circuit is fabricated by a Bipolar-CMOS process by which a bipolar transistor and a CMOS transistor are mixed with each other thereon.

摘要: A lighting device for a vehicle includes a housing, an inner lens molded of a transparent colored material that is fitted to an opening portion of the housing; and an outer lens molded of a transparent colorless material; and a left-hand inner wall surface of the housing is dimensioned to have a length different from that of a right-hand inner wall surface of the housing. To prevent the presence of a colorless part of the inner wall surface from appearing to have a longer length, the foregoing colorless part of the inner wall surface is covered with an extension portion of the inner lens which comes in close contact with the inner wall surface. To improve the appearance of the lighting device, all surfaces associated with the inner lens, such as a part of the inner wall surface having a greater dimension a lower inner wall surface; and an upper inner wall surface are coated with the surface material that corresponds with a material coated on the extension portion of the inner lens.

摘要: When data are memorized in a 2-7 RLL code on a disc shaped memorizing medium using a sector format, as an address mark in each sector a 2-7 illegal pattern is used; a 1-byte data "8B" in an NRZ signal is converted into a 2-7 RLL code, and further it is modified into the 2-7 illegal pattern.A disc controller in a disc memory inserts the 1-byte data "8B" into a specified position in an NRZ signal and transmits it to an encoder/decoder. In the encoder, the 1-byte data "8B" in an NRZ signal is detected, and a 2-7 illegal pattern is formed by reversing a specified bit of a 2-7 RLL code formed by converting the 1-byte data "8B", and the illegal pattern is sent to the read/write amplifier.

摘要: In a method of and apparatus for forming element-free spaces in a continuous slide fastener chain at ends of successive fly strips sewn to the slide fastener chain, the chain having a pair of intermeshed rows of coupling elements, portions of the intermeshed rows of coupling elements to be removed are detected by a sensor assembly disposed at a fixed position spaced a first distance upstream from a gap-forming device before such portions arrive at the gap-forming device. The sensor assembly first determines whether the longitudinal extent of a space provided between the confronting ends of an adjacent pair of the fly strips is larger than a predetermined distance, and then on the bases of the determination, controls the feeding of the chain and the operation of the gap-forming device so that the element-free spaces can be provided accurately at the ends of the respective fly strips regardless of the spacing between adjacent fly strips.

摘要: In a direct coupling type power amplifier circuit comprising an input differential amplifier stage, a drive amplifier stage responsive to the output signal of the input differential amplifier stage dc-wise and ac-wise, and a push-pull output amplifier stage responsive to the output signal of the drive amplifier stage dc-wise and ac-wise, the input differential amplifier stage being supplied at one input electrode thereof with an input signal and at the other input electrode thereof with the output of the push-pull output amplifier stage through a negative feedback circuit network, the power amplifier circuit further comprises a bias circuit network for defining the dc bias current through the input differential amplifier stage and a delay circuit coupled between the bias circuit network and a power source voltage supply point. With this circuit arrangement, the dc bias current through the input differential amplifier stage is cut off to hold the whole power amplifier circuit non-responsive to the input signal during a predetermined time internal after the application of the power source voltage to the power source voltage supply point, the predetermined time interval being substantially determined by a predetermined delay time in the delay circuit and a predetermined constant voltage value of a constant voltage circuit component in the bias circuit network.

摘要: An eyelid detection device that, based on first order differential values and second order differential values of vertical density change at an eyelid boundary in an eye image, shifts the second order differential values upwards by ¼ of the cycle of density change frequency of an eyelid boundary and combines the first order differential values and the second order differential values to compute upper eyelid feature amounts. The eyelid detection device detects a boundary between an upper eyelid and eyeball based on peak points in the vertical direction of the computed upper eyelid feature amounts. Consequently, the boundary between an eyelid and eyeball can be accurately detected even when the eyelid has been applied with makeup.

摘要: Detecting with good precision an eye inside corner position and an eye outside corner position as face feature points even when the eye inside corner and/or the eye outside corner portions are obscured by noise. First eyelid profile modeling is performed with a Bezier curve expressed by a fixed control point P3 indicating an eye inside corner first position detected in an image, a fixed control point P4 indicating an eye outside corner first position, a control point P1 corresponding to an upper eyelid position candidate (first parameter), and a control point P2 corresponding to a lower eyelid position candidate (second parameter). Then in a second eyelid profile model with fixed P1 and P2 of the first eyelid profile model having the highest fitting evaluation value λ to the eyelid profile in the image, the values of a control point P3 indicating an eye inside corner position candidate (third parameter) and a control point P4 indicating an eye outside corner candidate (fourth parameter) at a maximum of a fitting evaluation value λ when changing the values of the control point P3 and control point P4 are determined as an eye inside corner second position and an eye outside corner second position, respectively.

摘要: In a state where a subject 5 is not present, a pre-processing unit 7 changes the focal spot position that becomes the position of an X-ray tube 2, acquires the X-ray incidence rate of each detection module at each focal spot position, approximates the X-ray incidence rate of each detection module by the X-ray incidence rate of a module in which a reference detector is present, and stores the coefficient of an approximate polynomial in a storage unit 8. When a scanning of the subject 5 is performed, the X-ray incidence rate of each detection module is calculated using the X-ray incidence rate of the module in which the reference detector is present and the stored coefficient, and sensitivity correction data relating to each focal spot position is obtained using the calculated X-ray incidence rate when the scanning of the subject is performed.
