Abstract:
An automatic sensing power system automatically determines a power requirement for an electrical device, converts power to the required level, and outputs the power to the electrical device when the electrical device is connected to the automatic sensing power system
Abstract:
A connector includes contacts each having a contact portion, an elastic portion and a fulcrum portion between the contact portion and a connection portion, and a pressure receiving portion; a housing fixing the contacts; and a slider having urging portions pivotally moved between the connection and pressure receiving portions of the contacts to urging the contact portions against the circuit board, thereby achieving reliable connection and miniaturization of the connector. In an aspect, the housing is formed on the side of a board insertion opening with a recessed portion for conducting the board. In another aspect, the contact includes upper and lower contact portions one above the other arranged alternately staggered so as to be connected to a circuit board having contact portions alternately staggered, so that no defective connection occurs, even if the circuit board is inserted erroneously upside down. In a further aspect, the connector further includes locking members having an engaging portion which engages an anchoring portion of the circuit board to prevent the circuit board from being removed. In one aspect, contacts of two kinds are inserted into the housing from opposite sides, respectively so that these contacts of the two kinds are into contact with the contact portions on respective surfaces of the circuit board. In a further aspect, moreover, a plate-shaped piece is provided in opposition to the contact portions of the contacts to prevent the housing from being deformed.

Abstract:
A network connector is disclosed to electrically insulative include housing, which holds terminals bonded to an external circuit board, an adapter circuit board, which has curved adapter terminals suspending in an adapter slot in the housing and contact holes, a filter module, which has rear terminals respectively connected to the contact holes of the adapter circuit board and front terminals, and a control circuit module, which has front contact holes and rear contact holes respectively connected to the front terminals of the filter module and the terminals of the housing.
Abstract:
A rotatable adapter device with multiple connectors includes a main body, a first electrical connector, a plurality of second electrical connectors and a conducting unit. The first electrical connector is disposed rotatably on the main body, the plurality of second electrical connectors are disposed fixedly on the main body and the conducting unit is electrically connected to the first electrical connector and at least one of the second electrical connectors. Therefore, it has a transforming function and is more convenient for a user. Moreover, its design avoids the signal lines becoming intertwined with each other when they are inserted into the adapter.
Abstract:
An improved method and apparatus for identifying individual wires that are connected between a network patch panel and a remote wall jacks is provided. A permanent LED lamp is installed adjacent to each jack in a computer network patch panel that is electrically connected to two terminals of each of the patch jacks. A handset component that produces direct current voltage is plugged into a remote wall jack to be tested, an electrical circuit is completed using the permanent network cabling thereby energizing the LED indicator lamp at the patch panel, providing positive visual confirmation of the patch panel location that corresponds to the wall jack location. The method of the present invention provides for one worker to remain at the patch panel location, as a second worker, using the handset component of the present invention, plugs the device into a wall plug in a remote location, which lights the corresponding LED on the patch panel. The worker at the patch panel communicates the circuit that was illuminated to the worker at the remote location. Thus, the correct wire for that location on the patch panel is instantly identified, and can be labeled by the remote worker.
Abstract:
A system for providing dual 10 GB uplinks in the front side of a single rack unit switch that stacks two MSA X2 I/O devices in a limited space. In one embodiment the two X2 I/O devices are mounted on opposite sides of a single circuit board positioned above the motherboard.

Abstract:
An angled patch panel is provided that is configured to be mounted to a rack or console. The angled patch panel facilitates cable management functions and enhances space utilization at and around the rack/patch panel assembly. The angled patch panel includes first and second patch panel elements that are angularly oriented with respect to each other. The transition from the first patch panel element to the second patch panel element is generally achieved in an apex region. The angled patch panel also includes flange members that extend from the first and second patch panel elements. Each of the flange members define a mounting face and an extension arm that is intermediate the mounting face and the patch panel element. The extension arm is dimensioned to facilitate at least partial recessing of the angled patch panel relative to the rack/console when the angled patch panel is mounted thereto.
Abstract:
An interconnect apparatus for providing a communication path for data signals in a predetermined frequency band, that includes a first and a second sections of a transmission line, connected at one end to first and second data transceiving devices, respectively. A switch, such as a mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, electro-magnetic and electro-optical switch, having conductive/non-conductive states, is provided for connecting/disconnecting between the other ends of the first and the second sections, for providing a data communication path between the data transceiving devices while being in its conductive state a third and a fourth sections of a transmission line, each of which connected at one end to a contact of the switch and at the other end to a first and a second connector, respectively. A compensation circuitry is provided for compensating, within the frequency band, parasitic effects caused by the switch and/or cord, while the switch is in its conductive state or, while the switch is in its non-conductive state and while a connection between the first and the second connectors is provided by a cord having predetermined characteristics, such that the compensation circuitry compensates the influence of parasitic effects introduced along the communication path by the switch while being in its non-conductive state and while the cord is a part of the communication path or, by the combination of the third and a fourth sections and the connectors while the switch is in its conductive state.
Abstract:
A patch panel including a plurality of electrical connector assemblies, each of the electrical connector assemblies including a first jack presented on a first side of a panel frame of the patch panel and a second jack electrically linked to the first jack to form a jack pair and presented on a second side of the panel frame. Both the first jack and the second jack are presented at an angle with respect to the panel frame, and both the first jack and the second jack may be engaged using a patch cord. The first and second jack of each jack pair are at a 90-degree angle relative to one another.
