    Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters comprising: first parameters of logical channel(s) indicating that each logical channel of the logical channel(s) is mapped to corresponding first transmission duration(s); and a second parameter indicating a first value for a buffer status report timer. The buffer status report timer is started with the first value in response to: receiving at least one uplink grant associated with a second transmission duration; and at least one logical channel, with data, of the logical channel(s) mapped to the second transmission duration. A buffer status report is transmitted in response to the buffer status report timer expiring.

    Abstract: Network nodes and methods therein are provided for cooperation between different wireless communications networks, such as between a 3GPP network and a WLAN. Information related to a buffer status of at least one wireless device is provided by a first network node operating in a first wireless communication network, to a second network node operating in a second wireless communication network. The information may be an indication of a buffer status of a UE which the first network node considers steering to the second wireless network. The second network node may reply with an estimate of a possible throughput for the UE, where the estimate is based on the information related to a buffer status.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink transmission method, a base station and a user equipment. The method includes: receiving uplink split information sent by a first base station, wherein the uplink split information is used for instructing a second base station to receive data in buffers corresponding to N1 logic channel groups of a user equipment, the N1 logic channel groups are determined by the first base station from a BSR sent by the UE, and N1 is a positive integer larger than 0; determining N2 logic channel groups from the N1 logic channel groups, wherein N2 is a non-negative integer smaller than or equal to N1; and sending feedback information to the first base station, wherein the feedback information is used for indicating the determined result. In an embodiment of the present invention, a flexibility of the uplink transmission is improved.

    Abstract: Techniques generally described are related to a method to adjust data transmission from a core network to a base station. The method may include measuring, by the base station, a first air-interface data rate for transmission of mobile data to a mobile device during a first transmission period. The method may include estimating, by the base station based on the first air-interface data rate, a second air-interface data rate for transmission of the mobile data to the mobile device during a second transmission period subsequent to the first transmission period. The method may further include generating, by the base station, a first threshold and a second threshold for a cache based on the second air-interface data rate.
