Abstract: In an example method, a donor base station determines that an air interface, over which the donor base station serves a relay-UE and plurality of second UEs, is threshold highly congested and that a relay base station is serving a threshold high number of first UEs. The relay base station is coupled to a relay-UE that provides wireless connectivity for the relay base station and that is served by the donor base station. Responsive to at least the determining that the air interface is threshold highly congested and that the relay base station is serving a threshold high number of first UEs, the donor base station (i) selects one or more of the plurality of second UEs and (ii) hands over the selected one or more second UEs to another base station other than the donor base station.

Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters comprising: first parameters of logical channel(s) indicating that each logical channel of the logical channel(s) is mapped to corresponding first transmission duration(s); and a second parameter indicating a first value for a buffer status report timer. The buffer status report timer is started with the first value in response to: receiving at least one uplink grant associated with a second transmission duration; and at least one logical channel, with data, of the logical channel(s) mapped to the second transmission duration. A buffer status report is transmitted in response to the buffer status report timer expiring.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and a communications system for switching a transmission time interval, user equipment, and an evolved NodeB (eNB). User equipment (UE) calculates a transmission time interval (TTI) switching characteristic parameter, and the UE sends a TTI switching request message if the TTI switching characteristic parameter meets a switching condition. The eNB sends, to the UE, a TTI switching indication message that includes indication information of a second TTI, and the UE performs transmission by using the second TTI. By using the method for switching a TTI, the UE and the eNB described in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a TTI used for transmission can be adjusted in time according to a channel quality change of the UE, thereby remarkably shortening a service delay.

Abstract: Network nodes and methods therein are provided for cooperation between different wireless communications networks, such as between a 3GPP network and a WLAN. Information related to a buffer status of at least one wireless device is provided by a first network node operating in a first wireless communication network, to a second network node operating in a second wireless communication network. The information may be an indication of a buffer status of a UE which the first network node considers steering to the second wireless network. The second network node may reply with an estimate of a possible throughput for the UE, where the estimate is based on the information related to a buffer status.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink transmission method, a base station and a user equipment.
