    摘要: A hybrid switch actuator having six positions that are stable in the absence of current and in which displacement occurs between an initial position and a target position under the action of a current. The actuator includes a stator and a rotationally moveable rotor package. The stator has six pole shoes. Each pair of opposed pole shoes is equipped with a common exciting coil. The rotor package has two pairs of rotor poles magnetized transversely in alternate directions and a permanent magnet ring and two end caps adapted to be engaged around said permanent magnet ring. Each end cap is associated with two rotor poles having maximum radius regions that correspond to the area of each of the stator pole shoes and reduced radius regions positioned adjacent the maximum radius regions such that each rotor pole can be precisely aligned with each stator pole shoe.

A first plane includes a first axis, a second axis and a first point. The first point is a point of insertion between the first axis parallel to the first direction and passing almost through the center of the shield current carrying means. The second axis crosses at right angles to the first axis and is spaced almost equal distance from the two sets of the generating sources. The alternately arranged positive and negative current carrying directions of the shield current carrying means are set in the order of increasing value of θn.

    摘要: A permanent magnet rectangular bar shaped to form a helix having a centralore and a longitudinal axis. The magnetic orientation of the helical permanent magnet bar is along the longitudinal axis forming a transverse helical magnetic field. An electron beam or charged particle passing near the longitudinal axis experiences acceleration causing the charged particles to radiate creating a high energy radiation source. In another embodiment, first and second permanent magnet helical bars are intertwined together, forming a cylindrical tube, with each of the intertwined helical bars having a magnetic orientation along the longitudinal axis in opposing directions. In another embodiment of the present invention, an iron ribbon or other high permeability magnetic material is interposed between cut-out portions between first and second intertwined helical permanent magnet bars. This effectively augments the transverse magnetic field. A relatively compact permanent magnetic structure that is relatively simple having a desired transverse helical magnetic field is made possible for such applications as free electron lasers or millimeter/microwave radar devices.

    摘要: A split type coil separator which does not easily generate axial deviation, is formed as a split type coil separator which is composed of a neck portion side coil separator and a funnel portion side coil separator. A coupling structure is provided at the contact surfaces of the neck portion side coil separator and funnel portion side coil separator. The coupling structure is composed of a neck portion side coupling portion and a funnel portion side coupling portion. A pair of coupling projections are provided at the positions opposed by almost 180 degrees in the neck portion side coupling portion, while a coupling recessed portion is formed to the internal circumference surface corresponding to the coupling projections. When both coil separators are coupled and fixed by this coupling structure, respective coil separators are integrated without generation of axial deviation and eccentricity of center axes. Thereby, predetermined deflecting condition can be realized and the deflection adjusting work can also be eliminated.

    摘要: A permanent magnet armature solenoid has a tip formed of a non-magnetic material operably connected to a ferromagnetic insert which is firmly held to the end of the magnetic armature by the magnetic attraction between the insert and armature. The magnetic field of the armature holds the armature and the insert together as a single unit, even under high acceleration, deceleration and rapid movement of the armature. The insert is relatively small compared to the armature and the addition of the insert to the solenoid does not significantly adversely affect the performance of the solenoid. The insert is preferably formed of a magnetically susceptible metal such as iron, steel or stainless steel. Desirably, the tip is formed of a polymeric material and preferably of an elastomer so that the tip may be molded directly to the insert by conventional molding techniques to facilitate molding the non-magnetic tip onto the insert.

    摘要: A microceramic linear actuator includes a unitary ceramic body which has been formed with an internal cavity; a piston mounted for linear movement within the internal cavity and having a micromagnet with first and second poles of opposite polarity, and at least one shaft attached to the micromagnet; a conductive coil embedded in the unitary ceramic body and having a first portion wound in a clockwise direction and disposed in operative relationship to the first pole of the micromagnet, and a second portion wound in a counterclockwise direction and disposed in operative relationship to the second pole of the micromagnet. A power supply applies current in first and second directions to the coil such that when the current is applied in the first direction it flows through both coil portions, and the clockwise portion of the coil imparts a force to the first pole of the micromagnet, and the counterclockwise portion of the coil imparts a force to the second pole of the micromagnet thereby causing such micromagnet and its attached shaft to move in the first linear direction, and when it is applied in a second direction the clockwise portion of the coil imparts an opposite force to the first pole of the micromagnet, and the counterclockwise portion of the coil imparts an opposite force to the second pole of the micromagnet thereby causing such micromagnet and its attached shaft to move in a second linear direction.

    摘要: A device for correction of negative differential coma error in convergence free deflection yokes. The deflection yoke encloses a portion of a cathode ray tube, including a portion of the cathode ray tube neck, and includes: a separator around which is wound a horizontal deflection coil for providing a horizontal magnetic deflection field; a core around which is wound a vertical deflection coil for providing a vertical magnetic deflection field, the core partially encircling the separator; and a rear cover which attaches the deflection yoke to the cathode ray tube, the rear cover being disposed around the neck of the cathode ray tube and having a first side facing the direction of the screen of the cathode ray tube and resting against a rear end of the separator. In accordance with the present invention, arcuate shunts, which are preferably "C"-shaped and have inside radii which are parallel to the neck of the cathode ray tube, are disposed on the first side of the rear cover, and are preferably centered on a first axis of the neck of the cathode ray tube, such axis being parallel to an axis of the screen of the cathode ray tube. The use of these "C"-shaped shunts is found to correct the negative differential coma error introduced by the convergence free deflection yoke.
