Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the application of a viable cell monitor to the cryopreservation of plant cells. The viable cell monitor is, for the first time, used in a method for rapidly evaluating the effect of cell freezing-preservation. The effect of a cryoprotectant on cell preservation is evaluated through the change in the capacitance of viable cells before and after cell freezing and resuscitation. Viable cell electrodes can provide a quick and accurate characterization of viable cell concentrations. Combining the viable cell capacitance with the detection result of 2,3,4-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC), a rapid and quantitative evaluation of the effect of a freezing method on cell preservation can be achieved, thus overcoming the low effectiveness and non-quantification of previous cell preservation methods. Compared with traditional methods, the method of the present disclosure can improve the comprehensive score of cell cryopreservation by 5 times or more.

Abstract: The present application provides an on-machine point cloud detection and compensation method for processing complex surfaces, which comprises: step S1, installing a detecting and scanning actuator on an ultrasonic rolling machine tool; step S2, installing a processed workpiece on the chuck which is scanned by the detecting and scanning actuator to obtain the point cloud data of the workpiece in a coordinate system of detecting and scanning actuator, which is converted into the point cloud data of the workpiece in a coordinate system of machine tool; step S3, processing the point cloud data of the workpiece in the coordinate system of machine tool; step S4, obtaining and compensating the shape error feature of the workpiece according to theoretical design data of the processed workpiece and processed point cloud data of the workpiece in the coordinate system of machine tool. The accuracy and efficiency of complex surface strengthening is improved in the present application.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for self-heat-extracting flash evaporation of a sulfuric acid alkylation reaction product. There is provided a method for self-heat-extracting flash evaporation of a sulfuric acid alkylation reaction product. One step is to coalesce and vaporize a preliminarily distributed sulfuric acid alkylation reaction product to cause preliminary vaporization of a hydrocarbon therein, thereby taking heat away and preliminarily separating the hydrocarbon from sulfuric acid. Another step is to subject the preliminarily separated alkylation reaction to reinforced separation, where the hydrocarbon is further vaporized to take heat away and further separate the hydrocarbon from the sulfuric acid. There is also provided an apparatus for self-heat-extracting flash evaporation of a sulfuric acid alkylation reaction product.

Abstract: A method and a device for synchronous high-speed photographing of microparticle rotation in a liquid cyclone field and for determining the rotation velocity of a microparticle in a liquid cyclone field by using a combination of a synchronous high-speed photographing system and a transparent microparticle containing two centrosymmetrically arranged inner cores having the same diameter. The method comprises: using a transparent microparticle comprising two inner cores having the same diameter and arranged centrosymmetrically as a rotation test particle; acquiring synchronously two groups of two dimensional image series of microparticle motion in a liquid cyclone field using two orthogonally arranged high-speed digital cameras; and reconstructing a three dimensional motion trajectory of the microparticle from the two groups of synchronous image series, and determining a rotation velocity of the microparticle in the cyclone field at the same time.

Abstract: A photo-tunable liquid crystal composition may include a polymer matrix and a liquid crystal mixture dispersed within the polymer matrix. The liquid crystal mixture may include at least one achiral nematic liquid crystal material, at least sine photo-active chiral dopant, at least one photo-inactive chiral dopant, and at least one emissive dye. The composition may be fabricated in the form of an emulsion, a wet film, or a dry film. The dry film may be used in a photo-tunable liquid crystal film laser. The output wavelength of the photo-tunable liquid crystal film laser may be tuned by exposing the dry film to illumination having at least one wavelength at one or more transition wavelengths.
