Abstract:
A method for forming a split gate non-volatile memory cell in a semiconductor device is described. The semiconductor device is defined by a cell array region, a boundary region, and a peripheral logic region. The method eliminates the formation of a conductive layer in the boundary region. The method comprises forming a field oxide layer supported by a semiconductor substrate, forming a gate oxide layer adjacent to the field oxide layer, forming a first conductive layer on the field oxide layer and the gate oxide layer, forming an interpoly oxide layer on the first conductive layer, patterning the first conductive layer and the interpoly oxide layer to develop a terminal edge portion on the field oxide layer overlying the boundary region, forming a second conductive layer over the semiconductor substrate, and patterning the first conductive layer, the second conductive layer and the interpoly oxide layer to from a split gate non-volatile memory cell in the cell array region, wherein the semiconductor substrate does not support any portion of the first and second conductive layers in the boundary region.

Abstract:
A fluid-pressure regulator for regulating the pressure of a fluid. The regulator includes a variable-resistance fluid element and a variable-volume fluid element located downstream of the variable-resistance element. Pressure in the fluid at the outlet of the regulator is controlled by substantially simultaneously changing the resistance of the variable-resistance element and the volume of the variable-volume element. In one example, a decrease in pressure is effected at the outlet by simultaneously increasing the resistance of the variable-resistance element and increasing the volume of the variable-volume element. Some embodiments of the regulator are particularly useful to effect long-term and high-speed pressure changes in high-resistance fluidic channel networks.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparation of aripiprazole crystal form II by recrystallizing aripiprazole in a mixture of acetone and 1-methoxy-2-propanol or a single solvent of 1-methoxy-2-propanol. The simple process according to the present invention can produce aripiprazole crystal form II with high purity and high yield in a mass scale.

Provided is a method of receiving multiview camera parameters for a stereoscopic image. The method includes: extracting multiview camera parameter information for a predetermined data section from a received stereoscopic image data stream; extracting matrix information including at least one of translation matrix information and rotation matrix information for the predetermined data section from the multiview camera parameter information; and restoring coordinate systems of multiview cameras by using the extracted matrix information.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a datastream into which multiview image information is inserted. The method of decoding a multiview image datastream includes extracting multiview image information including information on at least one view image of a multiview image, from at least one elementary stream of the multiview image datastream; extracting a multiview image parameter regarding the multiview image based on the number of elementary streams and a correlation between view images of the multiview image; and restoring the multiview image by using the extracted multiview image parameter and the extracted multiview image information.
Abstract:
Provided is a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding multi-view video data. The encoding method includes: decomposing each view image of the multi-view video into an overlapped region and a non-overlapped region, the overlapped region being overlapped with other view image and the non-overlapped region not being overlapped with other view image; generating a stitched image by combining the non-overlapped region of each view image and a middle view image; encoding the stitched image using a first encoding algorithm; and encoding the overlapped region of each view image, using a second encoding algorithm. Further, the decomposing step includes the steps of estimating disparity information for each view image, based on a predetermined view image; and decomposing each view image into said overlapped region and said non-overlapped region using the estimated disparity information.
