The present invention relates to a network controller within a core network in a radio communication system, and a method for forming an interface with a terminal. In the network controller, if a terminal requests a predetermined radio node for a connection between the terminal and a core network through a first radio interface by a first radio protocol, a connection to the terminal by a NAS protocol is established and configuration information for the connection to the terminal is stored, and if the terminal requests the radio node for a connection between the terminal and the core network through a second radio interface by a second radio protocol, a connection to the terminal by the NAS protocol may be established using the configuration information.

Disclosed are a method and a device for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system. A method for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: transmitting, by a terminal, first cellular control information to a base station in a cellular system; and transmitting, by the terminal, second cellular control information to the base station through an AP in a wireless LAN system, wherein the terminal can communicate with the base station and the AP, and the first cellular control information and the second cellular control information may be control information for a service for the terminal of the base station.

A method for and apparatus for controlling transmission power in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device checks a duration in which a plurality of radio access technologies (RATs) for uplink resources overlaps, determines whether the transmission power of the UE is greater than a maximum power restriction of the UE in the duration, and controls power of at least one RAT based on priorities of the plurality of RATs so that the transmission power of the UE is under the maximum power restriction of the UE. Thus, dynamic and efficient transmission power is supported.

Disclosed are a method for reporting buffer status for device-to-device (D2D) communication and an apparatus therefor. The method for reporting buffer status in a radio communication system that supports D2D communication comprises: setting up, by a first D2D terminal, a media access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU) including an ID for a D2D link with a second D2D terminal, in order for D2D buffer status reporting (BSR), if the first D2D terminal is supposed to transmit data to the second D2D terminal; and transmitting the MAC PDU from the first D2D terminal to a network.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for supporting device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system. The present invention obtains information on time and resources required for signal transmission of corresponding user equipment (UE), estimates transmission time of the signal transmission by using the information on time and resources, and checks propagation delay by comparing the estimated transmission time with reception time of a signal transmitted from an actual corresponding UE. The present invention compares the checked propagation delay with predetermined reference values for converting to D2D communication and determines whether to perform D2D communication. Also, the determining D2D communication may include determining conversion to D2D communication by taking account of a channel state of a received signal.

A method for and apparatus for performing handover in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device transmits measurement results configured for a secondary radio access technologies (RAT) system, receives information on routing modification based on the measurement results, from a network entity of a primary RAT system and performs a handover to a target access network according to the information on routing modification. The secondary RAT system is used for a user plane (U-plane) data, and the handover is determined based on at least one of a quality of service (QoS) information, load information about the primary RAT system and secondary RAT system, and a network preference information of the UE.

The present invention provides methods and apparatuses for supporting or controlling a small cell on or off procedure. One of the embodiment of the present application, the method comprises steps of receiving, by the MSC from a Source Small Cell (SSC), a cell indication message including a cell state change indication parameter indicating whether the SSC is to be off and a cell off timer parameter indicating a time duration for a cell off process; transmitting, by the MSC to the SSC, a cell off request message in order to accommodate an user equipment (UE) serviced from the SSC based on the cell state change indication parameter; and receiving, by the MSC from the SSC, an aggregated UE context transfer message requesting to perform a radio resource control (RRC) connection switching from the SSC to the MSC during a time duration indicated by the cell off timer parameter.
