摘要: According to the present invention, in optical instruments having a plurality of spaces formed in the optical path of an energy beam IL from a light source, a predetermined energy beam is emitted toward the space on a light source side among a plurality of spaces, and the plurality of spaces are subjected to gas replacement from the space on the light source side, sequentially along the traveling direction of the energy beam, by a gas replacement apparatus. As a result, the concentration of light-absorbing substances and concentration nonuniformity in the space on the optical path can be effectively reduced with minimal gas consumption and within a required time.

摘要: An air bag of an inflatable curtain device includes a first cell group and a second cell group whose internal spaces are independent from each other. A high-pressure gas discharged from opposite ends of a common inflater disposed between both of the first and second cell groups and is supplied to a high-pressure gas supply port in the first cell group and a high-pressure gas supply port in the second cell group. The first and second cell groups can be expanded simultaneously by the common inflater, whereby the entire air bag can be deployed promptly, but also even when one of the first and second cell groups and is damaged, the deployment of the other cell group can be achieved without hindrance.

摘要: The emergency call such as Enhanced 911 call or the like is also originated through an exchange such as PBX (Private Branch Exchange). In this case, the identification information such as the extension number of the extension telephone terminal connected to the PBX should be transmitted to a network corresponding to the emergency call. For the extension telephone terminal, it is necessary to unhook or to capture an arbitrary line by the line key, before inputting the dial data “911”. Independent of the capture of arbitrary line, the PBX searches a vacant line connected to the network corresponding to the emergency call, captures the vacant line, transmits the identification information such as the extension number, and switches over and connects the extension telephone terminal from the line captured by the terminal to the vacant line. The identification information such as the extension number is notified, not by the DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-frequency) signal expressing data corresponding to the number of dial key, but by using a MF (Multi-frequency) signal expressing more data.

摘要: A CPU calls in accordance with a MW call-back request one of MW call-back candidates registered in a MW call-back candidate memory region to correspond to a called extension terminal issuing a MW call-back request. When a plurality of MW call-back candidates are registered to correspond to the called terminal, one of the MW call-back candidate terminals which corresponds to one of the count values stored in the count value memory region, which corresponds to the requesting terminal issuing the MW call-back request, is determined as destination terminal. When no response to the MW call-back is obtained, the CPU changes the destination terminal to be called back the next by the same requesting terminal by changing the count values of the MW call-back candidates, which are provided to correspond to the requesting terminal.

摘要: In a hydraulic apparatus providing a base with a discharge passage coupler to a circumferential portion of an annular discharge passage and to a damper chamber, a hydraulic device is connected via an orifice to the discharge passage without arranging the annular discharge passage between the damper chamber and the orifices, so that the damper chamber and the orifices cooperate together to exert an effective attenuating action thereon so as to suppress the transfer of pressure pulsation thereto effectively. Further, in an anti-lock brake control apparatus providing a pipe member which integrally includes an orifice interposed between a damper and a normally open electromagnetic valve, a sheet pipe corrected to an inner end of a connecting hole coaxially with the orifice, and a coupling pipe portion coaxially formed between the orifice and the sheet pipe, the sheet pipe is fitted into a large-diameter portion of the base and the orifice is fitted into a small-diameter portion of the base, thus the number of component parts is reduced and the normally open electromagnetic valves are prevented from malfunctioning due to the clogging of the orifices by dust.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heat insulating door wall structure for use in a refrigerator or the like. By constituting the surface of the door with a colored glass plate or the like having a transparent layer at its front surface and a colored layer at its reverse surface, a deep luster is provided by the transparent glass plate located before the colored layer. Owing to high rigidity of the glass plate, undulations that may be formed on the front surface of the door by contraction of a heat insulating material filled through expansion or foaming, or by warping of the door due to temperature differences between the exterior and interior of the door are advantageously prevented. Moreover, by increasing the strength of the door, reinforcing members of the door can be dispensed with, for a simple construction and a reduction in cost.

摘要: An occupant protecting system for a vehicle includes a triangular shock absorbing member which is accommodated in a folded state within an accommodating casing mounted along a roof rail. The shock absorbing member is held stationarily at its front and rear ends to a vehicle body by fixing pins. A movable pin mounted at a lower end of the shock absorbing member is connected through a wire to a developing or unfolding device mounted to a center pillar. The developing or unfolding device includes a gas generator and a cylinder with a piston slidably received therein and coupled to the wire. When the gas generator is operated upon collision of the vehicle to force the piston in the cylinder downwardly by a high pressure gas generated by the gas generator, the movable pin is pulled down through the wire, so that the shock absorbing member is drawn out of the accommodating casing and developed into a triangular shape. Thus, the membrane-like shock absorbing member, when being accommodated, is compact in size and can easily be mounted in a narrow space in the vehicle body.

摘要: A key telephone system is disclosed including a key service unit to which are connected a communication network such as public telephone network, a plurality of data terminal equipments such as personal computers, and interface conversion unit such as MODEM. When a call comes from external calling party into this system, the key service unit establishes a communication path between the network and the interface conversion unit so that succeeding data transmitted from the calling party supplied to the interface conversion unit. The succeeding communication data includes an extension number selected by the calling party, and the extension number is informed to the key service unit from the interface conversion unit. Then, the key service unit establish a communication path between a single data terminal equipment designated by the extension number and the interface conversion unit, so that the calling party can communicate with the designated data terminal equipment.
