    摘要: A camera includes a stroke change-over member which is in first position and a second position respectively when a shutter dial is set for electric exposure control mode and for mechanical exposure control mode. The stroke change-over member, when in the first position, restricts the stroke of the movement of a mechanical release initiating member and, when in the second position, allows the movement of the mechanical release initiating member beyond the restricted stroke, the movement being caused by depression of a shutter button. The camera further includes an electromagnetic release initiating member movable from a first to a second position in response to the depression of the shutter button and a locking member for locking the electromagnetic release initiating member at the first position when the shutter dial is set for mechanical exposure control. The electromagnetic release initiating member allows an electromagnetic release device to release the shutter mechanism when moved a short distance before the movement of the mechanical release initiating member is restricted by the stroke change-over member. The mechanical release initiating member, when moved beyond the restricted stroke, serves to retain the locking of a winding member by another locking member, thereby preventing accidental winding of a film and charging of the shutter mechanism with the shutter button kept depressed as well as allows a mechanical release device to release the shutter mechanism.

    摘要: A single lens reflex camera in which the diaphragm aperture is stopped-down to a preset position before measuring the image light for use in the automatic exposure control mechanism of the camera. A mirror, which is provided in the camera along its optical path, is movable between a viewing position and a retracted photographing position. The camera has a focal plane shutter with two curtains. Upon exposure, the curtains travel in sequence in the same direction in which the mirror is retracted. Initiation of the movement of the first curtain begins before the mirror is fully retracted, thereby enabling the time lag between a shutter release operation and exposure to be reduced.

The film cassette houses a battery connected to contacts mounted on the cassette and engaging the cavity contacts when the cassette is received in the cavity. The exposure circuit responds to a photosensitive element exposed to the objective traversing light reflected by the film at the objective focal plane. The camera includes a synchronous switch whose closing position responds to the focussing of the objective lens.

With such a configuration, a lens driving control method is changed by AF control of a phase difference detection system and AF control of a hill climbing system, and a driving system suitable for each AF system is performed, whereby the focusing operation can be performed normally at a high speed.
