Abstract: A device may determine one or more parameters relating to a network. The device may detect a trigger to alter a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) configuration for the network based on the one or more parameters relating to the network. The device may determine an alteration to the HARQ configuration based on detecting the trigger to alter the HARQ configuration. The device may communicate with a distributed unit or a centralized unit of the network to cause the alteration to the HARQ configuration.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which an scheduling service is provided. The scheduling service includes calculation of a priority value, on a per end device basis, based on throughput information and tuning parameter values. The priority value may also be calculated based on a radio access network slice weight. The scheduling service may calculate a schedule for transmission of data to an end device based on the priority value, available network resources, and a quality of service profile associated with a quality of service flow of the end device.

Abstract: Mitigating interference between transmitters and receivers associated with satellite systems and mobile wireless systems may include receiving information associated with the transmitter, determining a distance between the transmitter and the receiver based on the received information, determining if the distance is less than a distance threshold, estimating an interference level based on determining that the distance is less than the distance threshold, determining if the estimated interference level exceeds an interference threshold, computing an angle between an antenna of the transmitter and the receiver based upon determining that the estimated interference exceeds the interference threshold, and directing, when receiving a signal, a main lobe of a receive antenna pattern of the receiver towards the signal, and forming nulls in the receive antenna pattern in a direction of at least one side lobe of a transmit pattern of the transmitter.

The device may cause the user device to be disconnected from the first PGW and connected to the second PGW. The user device may remain connected to the provider network when disconnecting from the first PGW and connecting to the second PGW.

Abstract: A device may receive channel monitoring information associated with an unlicensed radio frequency (RF) spectrum band. The device may determine channel availability information associated with one or more channels of the unlicensed RF spectrum band based on the channel monitoring information. Abstract: A network device stores back-off definitions for different service categories of machine-type communications (MTC). The network device receives a service connection request originating from a wireless terminal and identifies the service connection request as a MTC request. The network device identifies an available bandwidth capacity for at least one portion of a network associated with the MTC request and determines, when the available bandwidth is below an admission threshold capacity, an admission control level for the MTC request. The admission control level is selected from a group of different admission control levels. The network device calculates a retry interval for the MTC request based on the determined admission control level for the MTC request and the available bandwidth capacity, and sends the retry interval with a response for the MTC request.
