SmartPath acts as a database collecting information about the machine's stresses and the machine's ability to cut a part. The CNC Controller in real time gathers this information as the machine moves and then automatically adds the information to the database. SmartPath is a form of artificial intelligent learning gathering its knowledge from the feedback of the CNC machine controller as it cuts. The operator can insert and override any of the cutting methods or scenarios.

The fiducials (F,F2 . . . ) correspond to a pattern (P) for the preset shape (S). A cutting system (11) superimposes the pattern (P) relative to the located one or more fiducials (F,F2 . . . ) for cutting out the preset shape (S) while the vision system (12) is concurrently locating subsequent one or more fiducials (F,F2 . . . ) in the moving sheet material (10). The concurrent processes of cutting and locating subsequent fiducials (F,F2 . . . ) are repeated substantially continuously. Preferably, using two or more fiducials (F,F2 . . . ), distortion is detected and the pattern (P) can be remapped before cutting for accurate superposition of the pattern (P) and distorted preset shape (S).

    摘要: A wafer sawing apparatus comprises an electrically conductive chuck table surrounding a suction plate and tactile sensing lines formed on the upper surface of the suction plate. At least one end of each tactile sensing line is electrically connected to the table body. A controller controls the chuck table and a scribing blade. The controller comprises a tactile sensing unit connected to the table body for sensing contact of the scribing blade with the tactile sensing lines or the table body and an equipment stop unit for stopping the scribing blade. The controller further comprises a zero point adjusting unit for receiving a contact signal from the tactile sensing unit and for adjusting a zero point of the scribing blade, and a switching unit connecting the tactile sensing unit to the zero point adjusting unit or the equipment stop unit.

    摘要: A transporting apparatus transports tubing in a forward direction. A tubing cutter is disposed along the transporting apparatus, and is activated at predetermined time intervals to cut a source of tubing into cut tubing portions as the source of tubing is being transported past the tubing cutter along the transporting apparatus. A first sensor is disposed along the transporting apparatus for detecting the leading edge of the cut tubing portion as the cut tubing portion passes by the first sensor on the transporting apparatus. A second sensor detects the leading edge of the cut tubing portion at a subsequent time. A length determiner determines the length of the cut tubing portion, based upon a first amount of time between two activations of the tubing cutter that were used to cut the front and rear portions of the cut tubing portions. The length determiner also measures a second amount of time between detections of the leading edge of the cut tubing portion by the first sensor and by the second sensor. The tubing length is determined using the first and second amounts of time.

    摘要: This control system takes into account the thermomechanical aspects of materials to quickly and easily determine optimal cutting conditions and to automatically control machining to preserve the integrity of the workpiece. This system includes an acquisition module configured to acquire values of a set of input parameters relating to cutting conditions and material properties of the piece, and a microprocessor configured for determining at least one operating cutting parameter representative of a cutting signal from the machining apparatus using a set of output parameters of an integrity model previously constructed during a learning phase. The integrity model connects the set of input parameters to the set of output parameters comprising specific cutting coefficients representative of the material integrity of the piece, and establishes at least one fatigue threshold of the at least one cutting operating parameter. The fatigue threshold allows control of the progress of cutting operations.
