    Abstract: A transmission system and method may be provided. The transmission system may transmit 2-bit data for each transmission line set and each transmission line set may include first, second and/or third transmission lines arranged in order. The first, second and/or third transmission lines may respectively transmit first, second and/or third signals each having one of first, second and/or third values such that a combination of a first electric field between the first and second transmission lines and a second electric field between the second and third transmission lines may be made depending on a logic state of the 2-bit data. The transmission system may transmit differential signals using a smaller number of transmission lines and the transmission system may transmit a larger number of signals in the same circuit area.

    Abstract: A novel multi-functional linear siloxane compound, a siloxane polymer prepared from the siloxane compound, and a process for forming a dielectric film by using the siloxane polymer. The linear siloxane polymer has enhanced mechanical properties (e.g., modulus), superior thermal stability, a low carbon content and a low hygroscopicity and is prepared by the homopolymerization of the linear siloxane compound or the copolymerization of the linear siloxane compound with another monomer. A dielectric film can be produced by heat-curing a coating solution containing the siloxane polymer which is highly reactive. The siloxane polymer prepared from the siloxane compound not only has satisfactory mechanical properties, thermal stability and crack resistance, but also exhibits a low hygroscopicity and excellent compatibility with pore-forming materials, which leads to a low dielectric constant. Furthermore, the siloxane polymer retains a relatively low carbon content but a high SiO2 content, resulting in its improved applicability to semiconductor devices. Therefore, the siloxane polymer is advantageously used as a material for dielectric films of semiconductor devices.

    Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for providing and reproducing a three-dimensional (3D) video content, and a computer readable recording medium storing a program to execute the method. The method of providing 3D image content includes: inserting content type information indicating whether the image content is two-dimensional (2D) image content or 3D image content into a reserved region of a Program Map Table (PMT); inserting additional information about the 3D image content into one of an Elementary Stream (ES) descriptor region of the PMT and a reserved region included in a video sequence of the ES; and multiplexing the PMT and the ES of the 3D image content so as to generate a Transport Stream (TS). Accordingly, compatibility with a conventional digital broadcasting system can be maintained and more realistic 3D image content can be provided to a user.

The semiconductor memory device includes channels configured to transmit signals from a transmitter to a receiver, and a crosstalk compensator. The crosstalk compensator may be connected between the channels to compensate for crosstalk. The crosstalk compensator may comprise a capacitor connected in parallel between the channels, and a switching unit connected between the capacitor and one of the channels. The switching unit may control connections or disconnections between the capacitor and the channel. Therefore, the semiconductor memory device and the semiconductor memory system compensate for crosstalk occurring between transmitted signals that are out of phase with each other.

    Abstract: A delay locked loop (DLL) circuit for a synchronous semiconductor memory device which can control a delay time of a feedback loop within the DLL circuit according to the magnitude of an external load, and a method of generating information about a load connected to a data pin of a synchronous semiconductor memory device are provided.
