A semiconductor memory device is provided that is capable of reading out mode register information stored in a register adapted for LPDDR2 (Low Power DDR2), through DQ pads. The semiconductor memory device includes a mode register control unit configured to receive address signals, a mode register write signal and a mode register read signal and generate a flag signal and at least one output information signal, and a global I/O line latch unit for transferring the output information signal to a global I/O line in response to the flag signal.

Disclosed is an air conditioner having a control box assembly, which enhances the serviceability of a circuit board and reduces production costs. In the air conditioner, which has a casing unit forming an external appearance of the air conditioner, a heat exchanger, a blowing device, and a control box assembly provided in the casing, the control box assembly includes a mounting unit mounting a circuit board; a control box housing the circuit board and the mounting unit; and guide units provided in the control box to guide a rectilinear reciprocating motion of the mounting unit to allow the mounting unit to come into and out of the control box and guide a rotating motion of the mounting unit in the case that the mounting unit is located at a designated position.

Disclosed is an indoor unit of an air conditioner, in which discharge units respectively provided on upper and lower portions of the indoor unit have an improved discharge structure such that the discharge units are interchangeable, to increase cooling efficiency regardless of installation position of the indoor unit. The indoor unit includes a cabinet; a first discharge unit being detachably provided on the cabinet and configured to discharge air in a forward direction; and a second discharge unit separated from the first discharge unit, being detachably provided on the cabinet and configured to discharge air in the oblique direction, the first discharge unit and the second discharge unit being interchangeable according to a height of a position at which the cabinet is installed. The indoor unit of the air conditioner sets the optimum direction of discharged air, thus increasing the cooling efficiency of an indoor space.

Slurry compositions for selectively polishing silicon nitride relative to silicon oxide, methods of polishing a silicon nitride layer and methods of manufacturing a semiconductor device using the same are provided. The slurry compositions include a first agent for reducing an oxide polishing rate, an abrasive particle and water, and the first agent includes poly(acrylic acid). The slurry composition may have a high polishing selectivity of silicon nitride relative to silicon oxide to be employed in selectively polishing a silicon nitride layer in a semiconductor manufacturing process.

Disclosed therein are apparatus and method for manufacturing agricultural water supply hose, which can continuously supply a small quantity of water to various farm products or agricultural crops such as garden fruits. The apparatus and method can firmly bond the nozzle chips on the hose without regard to materials and constituents of the nozzle chips not by thermally bonding the nozzle chips on the inner periphery of the hose but by bonding the nozzle chips on the inner periphery of the hose after coating the inner periphery of the hose with an adhesive which is supplied from an adhesive coating device, thereby increasing durability. The apparatus and method can prevent distortion of the bonded portion and concentration of stress on the bonded portion even though the coefficients in thermal expansion of the nozzle chips and the hose are different from each other since the bonding between the nozzle chips and the hose is carried out after the hose is sufficiently cooled from a melting point. The apparatus and method can supply the nozzle chips up to a place, where the nozzle chips will be bonded, in such a way that the nozzle chips supplied from a bowl feeder is supplied forwardly by constant-speed rollers and then supplied to a portion, which will be bonded, by chip inputting rollers rotating rapidly, thereby supplying the nozzle chips more easily and conveniently.

Disclosed is an electrostatic discharge device for a portable terminal including a main body mounted within the portable terminal. The main body includes a conductor coated with an insulator around the external circumference thereof. In addition, the main body also includes at least one electricity reception portion formed by partially removing the insulator so as to expose the conductor, and an electricity release portion formed by an end of the insulator so as to expose the conductor, wherein the electrostatic electricity generated within the terminal is applied to the electricity reception portion and guided through the conductor. The electrostatic discharge device can be easily installed within the terminal at or adjacent to a position where electrostatic electricity is generated, thereby contributing to miniaturization of a portable terminal.

The semiconductor memory device includes an input buffer, a RAS timing controller and a bank controller. The input buffer transmits a RAS timing test signal. The RAS timing controller generates a RAS timing signal. The bank controller controls a refresh operation timing in response to an output of the input buffer in a test mode and the RAS timing signal in a normal mode.
