Abstract:
The present invention relates to a zirconium based alloy composite having an excellent creep resistance and, more particularly, to a zirconium based alloy composite finally heat-treated to have the degree of recrystallization in the range of 40˜70% in order to improve the creep resistance. The zirconium based alloy comprises 0.8˜1.8 wt. % niobium (Nb); 0.38˜0.50 wt. % tin (Sn); one or more elements selected from 0.1˜0.2 wt. % iron (Fe), 0.05˜0.15 wt. % copper (Cu), and 0.12 wt. % chromium (Cr); 0.10˜0.15 wt. % oxygen (O); 0.006˜0.010 wt. % carbon (C); 0.006˜0.010 wt. % silicon (Si); 0.0005˜0.0020 wt. % sulfur (S); and the balance zirconium (Zr). The zirconium alloy manufactured with the composition in accordance with the present invention has an excellent creep resistance compared to a conventional Zircaloy-4, and may effectively be used as a nuclear cladding tube, supporting lattice and inner structures of reactor core in the nuclear power plant utilizing light or heavy water reactor.

A heat exchanger of an air conditioner comprising: at least one or more refrigerant inlets for connecting a compressor for compressing refrigerant to an expansion device for expanding condensed refrigerant via a piping and for receiving high temperature/pressure refrigerant coming from the compressor via a four-way valve; at least one or more refrigerant outlets for discharging the refrigerant to the expansion device, wherein the number of the refrigerant outlets is greater than that of the refrigerant inlets, such that same performances can be achieved for both the cooling and heating purposes albeit the heat exchanger being simplified in the structure thereof, and manufacturing cost can be reduced to thereby improve the productivity.

An arrangement, in a computer system, for coordinating scheduling of threads on a processor associated with a scheduling-enabled entity. The arrangement includes a policy database of scheduling policies. The arrangement further includes an automatic policy selector associated with the scheduling-enabled entity. The automatic policy selector is configured to automatically select one of the scheduling policies responsive to a triggering event that includes at least one of a first event and a second event. The first event represents a change in configuration of the scheduling-enabled entity and the second event represents a policy selection from a human operator. One of the scheduling policies is employed to schedule the threads on the processors after being selected by the automatic policy selector.

The database cache system includes: a network library which processes an access request issued by the online game server by using an input output completion port (IOCP); at least one database connection module which provides a connector for reading data from the database or recording data to the database; a database cache which stores data read from the database by the database connection module; and at least one cache buffer which is allotted to an IOCP worker thread corresponding to a database query request issued by the online game server and stores data read from the database, which is to be transmitted to the online game server.

An apparatus for a SCORM-based e-learning contents service in a digital broadcasting system and a method thereof that makes it possible to implement a SCORM-based e-learning method that is a PC-based leaning method currently recognized as the standard of the e-learning industries in an MPEG-2-based digital broadcasting system. The apparatus includes a set top box for transmitting information about a kind of terminal through a return channel and then reproducing a learning TS received through a broadcasting network on a digital television (TV) receiver in accordance with received XML sync information if a user is authenticated, a learning management system for transmitting an API adaptor supportable in the set top box through the return channel in accordance with the terminal kind information transmitted from the set top box, and a digital TV transmitter for generating the learning TS by packaging learning moving-picture data, learning data and sequencing information transmitted from the learning management system, generating the XML sync information, and transmitting the learning TS and the XML sync information through the broadcasting network.

The method includes determining whether or not a wrinkle-eliminating course is selected; supplying hot air to the clothes to eliminate dust from the clothes when it is determined that the wrinkle-eliminating course is selected; and supplying steam to the clothes, from which the dust was eliminated, to eliminate the wrinkles in the clothes.

A washing machine having a steam generating device for directly heating wash water to generate optimum steam, and a method for controlling the same are provided. The method includes sensing a temperature of the steam generating device; controlling water supply means according to the temperature of the steam generating device such that wash water is supplied to the steam generating device; and controlling a quantity of wash water supplied from the water supply means. Further, the steam is supplied so as to rapidly soak laundry, thereby shortening overall washing time, and reducing energy consumption. Also, the steam is sprayed onto the laundry to provide sterilizing effects. Soaking effects of the laundry are improved, as well, so as to increase washing efficiency and eliminate wrinkling.
