Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for enhancing random access procedures are described herein. A method performed by a station (STA) may include receiving, from an access point (AP), a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) in one of an upper frequency band or a lower frequency band. The PPDU may include a trigger frame. The trigger frame may include information indicating an allocation of a plurality of random access (RA) resource units (RA-RUs). Each of the RA-RUs may be associated with one of the upper frequency band or the lower frequency band. The method may include selecting one of the plurality of allocated RA-RUs and transmitting, to the AP, a message using the selected RA-RU.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for enhancing random access procedures are described herein. Each of the one or more PPDUs may include a trigger frame, and the trigger frame may include an indication of the plurality of RA-RUs and a target received signal strength indicator (TRSSI) associated with at least one of the upper or lower frequency bands. The method may comprise receiving, in response to the trigger frame, the message from the STA in one of the plurality of RA-RUs.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for channel sounding reports may be used in wireless local area network (WLAN) systems. A station (STA) may receive, from an access point (AP), a beacon frame. The STA may receive, from the AP, a null data packet (NDP) announcement (NDPA) frame including an indication of subchannels for measuring channel characteristics. The STA may receive, from the AP, an NDP frame. The STA may transmit, to the AP, a feedback report frame including channel state information (CSI) feedback, wherein the CSI feedback is based on measurements that the STA performed on the received NDP frame using the indicated subchannels for measuring channel characteristics. The beacon frame may include indications of punctured subchannel(s) and subchannel(s) that is not punctured, which may be indicated as a disabled subchannel bitmap. The subchannels for measuring channel characteristics may be equal to or a subset of the subchannel(s) that is not punctured.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for network discovery. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit, to a first access point (AP), via a Primary Connectivity Radio (PCR), a request indicating that on a condition that the WTRU is disassociated from the first AP, the WTRU will enter a wake-up radio (WUR) only discovery mode. The WTRU may receive, from the first AP, via the PCR, a management frame that has WUR discovery elements including an indication of at least one channel used by a second AP. The WTRU may perform disassociation from the first AP. The WTRU may activate a WUR and deactivate the PCR. On a condition that the WTRU is disassociated from the first AP, the WTRU may receive, from the second AP, via the WUR, a WUR frame over the at least one channel to enable the WTRU to activate the PCR to initiate association.

Abstract: A wireless station (STA) for parameterized spatial reuse (PSR) operation. The STA may receive, from a first access point (AP) that the STA is not associated with, a trigger frame. The trigger frame includes a signal (SIG) field that includes a PSR field. The PSR field includes a plurality of subfields each corresponding to a respective subchannel associated with the trigger frame. This information includes transmission power level information. The STA may then determine, for each subchannel, using the transmission power level information, transmission power upper bounds for each of the subchannels.
