The method generally includes determining one or more parameters corresponding to quality of service (QoS) information for communication of data using a V2X communication protocol, reporting the one or more parameters by transmitting a first message, receiving a second message indicating configuration information corresponding to the communication of the data using the V2X communication protocol, and communication the data based on the configuration information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A relay node may receive, from a source node, control signaling configuring the relay node to receive a transport block via a first air interface and to forward the transport block to a target node via a second air interface that is different than the first air interface. In some cases, each of the first air interface and the second air interface may support a same size transport block. The relay node may receive, from the source node via the first air interface, a first message including the transport block in a format of the first air interface based on the control signaling. The relay node may transmit, via the second air interface to the target node, a second message including the transport block and an indication that the transport block is in the format of the first air interface.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe indicating per-packet quality of service (QoS). A first packet can be obtained, by a wireless communications device, from an application generated for a radio access technology (RAT), where the first packet includes a QoS value associated with the RAT. A reflective indicator can be set in a header of the first packet to indicate a configuration, including a QoS value, to be used by a receiving device in transmitting a second packet. The first packet can be transmitted to the receiving device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating that a base station supports allocating resources for sidelink communications using a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT that is different from the first RAT. The UE may transmit a sidelink information message to the base station using the first RAT that indicates that sidelink communications are to be performed using either the second RAT or both the first RAT and the second RAT. The UE may receive a configuration message from the base station that comprises an identifier for the sidelink communications and an indication of available sidelink resources. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration message, a request for resources within the available sidelink resources, the request indicating the identifier and a buffer status report (BSR).

Abstract: Techniques are provided for supporting V2X communications which may be implemented in various apparatuses, methods, and/or articles of manufacture. In certain aspects an extended transmission profile may be determined to support V2X communications via 5G NR RATs between two or more wireless devices. For example, one or more processing units of a wireless device may determine that a NR RAT is requested for a V2X communication based, at least in part, on service information associated with data to be transmitted, determine an extended Tx Profile for the V2X communication, and initiate transmission of at least a portion of the data via the NR RAT using the transceiver based on the extended Tx Profile.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that enable establishment of secure communications and security keys for a remote user equipment (UE) and a relay UE to perform relayed sidelink communications in which the remote UE communicates with a network via the relay UE. To establish secure communications for the direct communications between the relay UE and the remote UE, one or more security keys may be established encryption and decryption of communications. To establish the security keys, the relay UE may forward a request for direct communications to a key management function (e.g., a ProSe key management function (PKMF)) in a control plane of a core network (e.g., in a control plane message to the PKMF via an access and mobility function (AMF)). The PKMF may derive relay keys and return information related to the relay keys to the relay UE the remote UE.

Abstract: Methods and techniques are described for supporting location services for a user equipment (UE) using a location server and service based interfaces (SBIs) and SBI service operations in a Fifth Generation wireless network. The location server may be, e.g., a Location Management Function (LMF). The LMF may be in either a serving Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) for a UE or in a Home PLMN for a roaming UE. The LMF may receive a location service request for the UE using an SBI and may communicate with another entity in the network, through a second entity and using an SBI, to obtain location information for the UE measured by the other entity. The LMF may determine a location for the UE based on the location information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) (e.g., a remote UE) may establish a relay connection for communicating with a network entity (e.g., a base station or a network device) via a second UE (e.g., a relay UE). The relay connection may include a sidelink connection and an access link connection. The remote UE may transmit a request to the network entity via the relay UE. The request may include a relay service code associated with the sidelink connection, as well as a request for quality of service (QoS) support for the relay connection. Based on the request, the network entity may determine a QoS configuration for the relay connection. The network entity may indicate the QoS configuration to the UEs via the relay connection. The UEs may adjust parameters of the relay connection to meet the specifications of the QoS configuration.

A first user equipment (UE) may be scheduled for communicating a first message over a first communication link with a base station and a second message over second communication link with a second UE. The first UE may select to communicate using the first communication link or the second communication link based on one or more prioritization rules that may involve the priority of the first message and the second message. The first UE may identify a mapping between the priority of the first message and the priority of the second message that may enable a comparison of the priorities of the first message and the second message. The first UE may select to communicate using the communication link of the message associated with the higher priority.
