    摘要: A color image forming apparatus which is capable of preventing deterioration in image formation quality caused by vibrations of a developing unit without halting an image forming operation and using a simple construction. A developing rotary unit incorporates developing devices corresponding to respective ones of a plurality of image formation colors. In forming an image, the developing rotary unit is moved to location for development of an image of each of the plurality of image formation colors. The level of vibrations applied to the developing rotary unit is detected, and the drive control pattern for the developing rotary unit is determined depending on the detected level of vibrations.

    摘要: The sheet conveyance apparatus includes a controller which controls a moving unit. The moving unit moves a sheet conveyance unit for conveying a sheet toward a direction intersecting with a sheet conveyance direction. The controller performs the control such that a moving speed of a shift moving unit is reduced when a shift amount of the sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus main body is small. Therefore, generation of a noise and vibration can be suppressed to save electric power consumption. When the shift amount of the sheet is large, the moving speed of the shift moving unit can be increased to shorten an operation time necessary to the movement.

The first folding rollers are reversely rotated while the first pushing plate is retreated, and the sheet bundle with the fold is reversely conveyed and returned to the sheet storage portion. Then, a second pushing plate pushes the sheet bundle, conveyed through a U-shape conveyance path, from a backside of the fold to reversely fold the sheet bundle, and the sheet bundle is completely folded. Therefore, the sheet bundle having good appearance can be realized in good bundle folding processing.

    摘要: The present invention provides a system capable of automatically making a diagnosis of a semiconductor device manufacturing apparatus, based on a result of particle detection on a substrate such as a semiconductor wafer. In one preferred embodiment, the surface of the wafer is divided into square-shaped minute areas of 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm, and existence of particles in each minute area is inspected. Based on the inspection result, data, in which existence of particles in each minute area is correlated with the address thereof, is created. The surface of the wafer is divided into several tens to several hundreds of evaluation areas. A binarized data is assigned to each evaluation area, and is determined based on the fact that the number of the minute areas in which particles are detected included in the evaluation area is larger, or not larger than a predetermined reference value. A correspondence table, showing the relationship between binarized data arrangements and the causes of particle adhesion, which is made based on empirical rules or experimental results, is prepared. By applying the binarized data made based on the inspection result to the correspondence table, the cause of particle adhesion can be identified.
