摘要: With conventional countertops, installing stone countertops or other countertop materials can be cumbersome, difficult and expensive. Skilled labor as well as very precise measurements and cuts are required to make such installations. To reduce the overall cost and to reduce the skill required to install stone countertops, a method whereby cabinets are staggered in heights and prefabricated countertop sections having custom edges. The use of the staggered cabinet heights in conjunction with the prefabricated countertop sections allows less skilled laborers to install countertops in less time without the need for precise measurement and precise cutting while continuing to provide same general aesthetic feel without any future maintenance.

摘要: A processing system with reconfigurable instruction extensions includes a processor, programmable logic, a register file, and a load/store module. The processor executes a computer program comprising a set of computational instructions and at least one instruction extension. The programmable logic receives configuration information to configure the programmable logic for the instruction extension and executes the instruction extension. The register file is coupled to the programmable logic and stores data. The load/store module transfers the data directly between the register file and a system memory.

摘要: An apparatus and method for improving print quality in a rotary offset press includes a variable speed servo motor for selectively applying a driving or braking action to a form roller in contact with a plate cylinder. The servo motor may be directly coupled to the form roller by a belt drive independent of the press drive and controlled to maintain a selected surface speed differential between the plate cylinder and the form roller during printing.

摘要: A system and method for attaching an abrasive article to a backing pad is provided. The system includes a backing pad including loop-textile material applied to an attachment surface thereof and an abrasive article, which is removably attached thereto. The abrasive article has at least first and second surfaces including a plurality of abrasive particles adhered thereto. The first surface of the abrasive article includes abrasive particles having a size and density selected to provide a desired surface finish of a workpiece surface being abraded with the abrasive article. The second surface includes a plurality of abrasive particles having a size and density selected to releasably engage textile loops extending from the loop textile material applied to the backing pad attachment surface. Various embodiments, including double-sided sandpaper sheets and sanding screens, which adhere to the textile loops extending from the loop textile material applied to the backing pad attachment surface are disclosed.

摘要: Systems and process for performing analytical processes on the health-related data for a person include components and steps for processing system multiple files from multiple sources containing health-related data for numerous individual. Such processing may include: staging health-related data; matching pieces of staged data to a person using one or more matching rules; compressing the matched staged data for the person into a compressed file through assignment of a universal identifier which is associated with the person; providing the compressed file to an analytics engine; and decompressing the at least one analytics results file using universal identifier to access the analytics results for the person. Additionally, the analytics results for the person may be provided to a user for intervention into the health of the person.
