摘要： In a stepping motor comprising a pair of stator yokes and a bobbin that includes a cylindrical body and two flanges, each of the two flanges radially extending outward from the cylindrical body so that the bobbin forms a squared U-shape in the axial cross-section thereof, there is provided a bobbin cover case disposed between the stator yokes and a coil wound around the bobbin, and the bobbin cover case includes an outer cover and an inner cover that are coupled to each other so as to provide a dual-layer insulating wall covering an open mouth portion of the squared U-shape, wherein the bobbin cover case inhibits a creeping discharge between the stator yokes and the coil.

摘要： A brushless DC motor including a rotor, a field magnet, and fixed poles having salient poles opposed to the field magnet. A bearing structure includes a rotating portion adapted to rotate with the rotor, a part of which rotating portion contacts the shaft, and a groove formed in the rotating contact portion at a predetermined angle between an angle parallel to the axial direction of the rotating portion and an angle perpendicular thereto. A lubricating oil fills both the rotating contact portion and the groove. A plastic plate is disposed under the rotating portion to bear a thrust force of the rotating portion.

摘要： To provide a bearing structure of a flat type brushless motor for floppy disk drive in which a stator is arranged in a plane shape and a disk acting as a rotor yoke rotates along the plane shape without the use of conventional ball bearings so that the bearing structure can be high in the rigidity, stable in the motion, and low in the cost. For having a maximum bearing length, the bearing structure comprises a support shaft arranged with its axis extending depthwisely of the motor and having two journal regions provided on both ends thereof and a recessed region thereof between the two journal regions; and a rotor shaft mounted in the center of the disk and having a cylindrical body thereof onto which the journal regions of the support shaft are rotatably fitted. Accordingly, the motor will minimize the frictional loss of the sleeve bearing and increase its operational life. Also, the steadiness (of deflection, inclination, and rigidity) in bearing action will be enhanced. The support shaft is embedded at its lowermost end in the base plate which is a mounting base of the motor so that its vertical orientation with relation to the base plate is maintained with much ease, thus contributing to the physical accuracy of the bearing structure. The bearing structure according to the present invention employs non of the high-priced ball bearings of any conventional structure and will minimize the cost of the flat type brushless motor.

The centrifugal fan is configured such that an impeller having a plurality of blades along a circumferential direction and disposed between a disk-shaped main plate and an annular shroud is housed in a casing configured by an upper casing and a lower casing, and that an air suctioned from a suction opening is discharged outward in a radial direction of the impeller by a centrifugal force due to a rotation of the impeller. The shroud has a curved surface formed from an outer edge portion toward a center thereof. The shroud has a plurality of protrusions which are formed on the surface of the shroud such that a gap is formed between each of the protrusion portions and the upper casing.
