Abstract: This invention is concerning a rotary electric machine 1, this electric motor 1 being provided with an inner cylinder 2, a rotor 3 provided so as to be rotatable inside the inner cylinder 2, a stator 4 fixed to the inner cylinder 2 and separated via a gap from an outer periphery of the rotor 3, and an outer cylinder 8 that covers an entire periphery of the inner cylinder 2 and forms a space 15, which serves as a coolant passage, in conjunction with the inner cylinder 2, wherein both ends of the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 8 in an axial direction are fixed to each other by cylinder welding portions 9 formed by welding. Accordingly, a rotary electric machine that is small and light can be obtained at low cost.

Abstract: A rotor (1) comprising a plurality of alternating magnetic poles formed by permanent magnets (3) distributed regularly between a circumferential portion (5) and a central portion (6) of the magnetic body (2) of the rotor and defining circumferential pole sections (7). The pole sections have a pre-determined pole pitch (Thetarho) and comprise a lobe-forming radial section (8). The lobe-forming radial section partially covers the magnets, such as to maximize a useful magnetic flux (PhiU) flowing radially through each of the pole sections and to minimize a leakage magnetic flux flowing through the circumferential portion. The pole sections can have a pre-determined pole overlap angle (Thetar) such as to maximize the useful magnetic flux (PhiU) and to minimize the leakage magnetic flux (PhiL), said overlap angle (Thetar) being a viewing angle of the lobe (8) from a point on the axis of the rotor.

Abstract: Circulating currents are suppressed and thermal losses are reduced in a three-phase permanent-magnet-excited synchronous machine in a delta circuit. Groove recesses and/or cavities are located in and/or under a circumferential face of the rotor that face the stator and follow an axial extent of the pole pitch of the rotor in their longitudinal extent and extend transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent along the circumferential coordinate in the region of the maximum values of at least the third harmonic and outside the maximum values of the basic function.

Abstract: A motor, including at least a stator, including at least a stator core and a coil winding, and a rotor, including at least a rotor core and multiple permanent magnets. Abstract: A motor including a stator assembly and a rotor assembly. The stator assembly includes a stator core and a winding; the stator core includes a yoke and a plurality of teeth protruding inwards from the yoke; between two adjacent teeth formed is a winding slot; the winding is arranged in the winding slot, and winded on the teeth. The rotor assembly includes a rotor core and a permanent magnet.
