    摘要: A harness system includes a waist belt assembly, a first releasable retainer attached to the waist belt assembly, shoulder straps, a back plate connected to the shoulder straps, and a release system including at least a first release strap connected to and extending from the back plate. The first release strap includes at least a first releasable connector in operative connection with the first releasable retainer so that actuation of the first release strap causes disconnection of the first releasable connector from operative connection with the first releasable retainer so that the first releasable retainer becomes disconnected from connection with the back plate and the back plate can be removed by a user while the waist belt assembly remains worn by the user.

    摘要: A method for joining nanotubes end-to-end, includes contacting the nanotubes with a joining fluid. The joining fluid has at least one property that is different from at least one property associated with ends of the nanotubes. In one embodiment, the method further includes contacting the nanotubes with a first, treating fluid and removing the bulk first fluid before the nanotubes are contacted with the joining fluid. The joining fluid is immiscible in the treating fluid to effect end-to-end joining of the nanotubes.

    摘要: A motion controller including a computer comprising a primary processor or a central processing unit and an input/output communication bus. The primary processor is in communicative connection with the bus and is adapted to communicate with other devices in communicative connection with the bus via the bus. The motion controller also includes at least one secondary processor in communicative connection with the bus. The secondary processor is adapted to execute at least one control algorithm for one or more axes of motion associated therewith. The secondary processor is further adapted to communicate with other devices in communicative connection with the bus via the bus independently of the primary processor (that is, the secondary processor is can effect bus mastering). The operating system of the computer can, for example, be a general purpose operating system.
