摘要: Herein disclosed are an editing apparatus, an editing method, and an editing program allowing quick editing of video data. In order to clip a section in the video data and play it to be broadcasted as a replay, receiving a request to start playback from a desired position, an in-point is set in response to the request, and an out-point is set in response to a request to finish playback. Then, other video data from the video data of a section between the in-point and the out-point is generated.

摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus, a controlling method, and a controlling program for appropriately moving a pointer to a selection position regardless of alignment and size of function selection area, and improving operability and certainty of function selection in a GUI. The apparatus includes (1) means for determining whether or not the pointer has crossed over a boundary of a predetermined area from outside to inside based on position information of the pointer; (2) means for determining a speed of the pointer or whether or not an event has occurred, and setting two types of operating modes; (3) means for moving the pointer to a predetermined position within the area when the pointer has crossed over the boundary from outside to inside; and (4) means for changing a moving distance of the pointer, if the pointer moves at a speed less than a predetermined moving speed or the event has not occurred and when it is determined that the pointer exists within the area, based on the speed determined when the pointer existed outside the area.

摘要: A pointer controlling apparatus, a control method, and a pointer controlling program are provided which can protect a button from erroneous operation without interrupting the operational flow or using excessive display area. The pointer controlling apparatus permits a pointer to move into a predetermined region after a predetermined period of time has elapsed from a point in time when the pointer comes into contact with a boundary line of the predetermined region. Accordingly, the predetermined area can be securely protected from a point in time at which the pointer comes into contact with the boundary line of the predetermined region for the predetermined amount of time. Furthermore, since the pointer is permitted to enter the predetermined region immediately after the predetermined time has elapsed, the predetermined region can be protected without interrupting the operational flow, and without using an excess of a display region.

摘要: A decoder is provided which, in parallel with decoding into TOC information from sub-Q data read out from the lead-in area of an optical disk, decodes into TEXT information from sub-R-W data read out and determines whether the TEXT information is present based on the sub-R-W data. The decoder, while decoding into plural packs of TEXT information, performs error detection on the decoded-into TEXT information based on error detection codes included in the respective packs, and sends to a microcomputer, if a result of the error detection is normal, a first data set consisting of corresponding decoded-into header information and TEXT content and, if a result of the error detection is not normal, a second data set which is of the same data size as the first data set and which is an indication code indicating that the result of the error detection is not normal.

摘要: Images captured by multiple cameras installed on a vehicle are combined, and an image of the ground is projected onto a plane and is displayed around a vehicle display portion. In the vehicle display portion, actual images of portions of the vehicle may be displayed in a front area, a rear area, a left-side area, and/or a right-side area. A vehicle illustration image is displayed in the area surrounded by the actual images of the portions of the vehicle. Since the vehicle actual images are displayed at the perimeter of the vehicle display portion, it is easy for an operator who views a display screen to recognize the positional relationships between the perimeter of the vehicle and obstacles outside the vehicle perimeter.

摘要: The present invention allows a printing process to be released from application software earlier. At the start of printing, the size of an available area in a RAM 11 is obtained. It is determined whether or not the size of total print data transmitted from a handheld computer to a color printer is the obtained size of the available area. If it is determined that the size of the total print data is larger, the size of an available area in a memory card is obtained. It is then determined whether or not the obtained size of the available area is larger than the size of the total print data. If it is determined that the size of the available area is larger, the total print data is created on the available area in the memory card. Then, the created total print data is transmitted to the color printer.

摘要: After applying a film-forming composition containing a polysiloxane, a pore-forming agent, an onium salt, and a solvent onto a semiconductor substrate, the solvent is evaporated from the film-forming composition in a first heat treatment. Then, a second heat treatment is carried out in an inert-gas atmosphere to promote the polymerization of the polysiloxane and thus form a polysiloxane resin film. Thereafter, a third heat treatment is carried out in an oxidizing-gas ambient to form pores in the polysiloxane resin film.
