Disclosed are a communication performing method and terminal, and the method is a method by which a terminal with dual connectivity performs communication in a heterogeneous cell environment, in which: a first reporting message reporting that a downlink signal is received from a small cell in an intensity greater than a threshold value is transmitted to a macro cell; an RRC establishment message indicating a connection to a small cell cluster is received from the macro cell; connections are added to a plurality of small cells included in the small cell cluster according to additional time information included in the RRC establishment message; and the connections to the plurality of added small cells are respectively activated according to activation connection time information included in the RRC establishment message, and the small cell cluster is determined on the basis of information on a location relationship among the plurality of small cells.

Disclosed is a method of transmitting a synchronization signal from a moving cell base station in a wireless communication system. The present invention includes mapping a moving cell synchronization signal sequence generated on a basis of a sequence assigned for a moving cell to a frequency region and transmitting the mapped moving cell synchronization signal sequence. Moreover, the moving cell synchronization signal sequence may be mapped to the frequency region different from a prescribed frequency region for transmitting a synchronization signal for a user equipment unsupportive of the moving cell.

The method includes receiving a measurement report message of the small cell from the UE connected to the macro cell, determining to configure dual connectivity with the macro cell and the small cell to the UE based on a measured value contained in the measurement report message, transmitting a dual connectivity request message for requesting connection with the UE to the small cell, receiving a dual connectivity response message indicating that the small cell is connected to the UE to determine to allocate a resource to the UE, from the small cell, and transmitting an RRC configuration message for requesting addition of connection with the small cell, to the UE.

A method of supporting communication using two or more heterogeneous radio access technologies (RAT) may include receiving, from a first communication network supporting a first RAT, a first message requesting notification as to whether access to a second communication network that simultaneously support the first communication network and a second RAT is supported; transmitting, to the base station in the first communication network, a second message including an indicator indicating whether to support simultaneous access to the first and second communication networks in response to the first message; and receiving a trigger condition for reporting a measurement result for the second communication network from the base station in the first communication network, when the indicator indicates that the terminal is able to access the first and second communication networks.

The present application provides methods for controlling a small cell on or off procedure in a Small cell specific Gate Way (S-GW). One of the methods comprises steps of receiving a cell indication message from a Source Small Cell (SSC), the cell indication message includes a cell state change indication parameter indicating whether the SSC is to be on or off and a cell on/off timer parameter indicating a time duration for a cell on process or a cell off process; transmitting request message requesting to expand or shrink a cell coverage of a Target Small Cell (TSC) according to the cell state change indication parameter; and receiving a complete indication message indicating the cell on process or the cell off process is complete after the time duration indicated by the cell on/off timer parameter from the SSC.

The present invention relates to a method for updating a TAC in a multi-RAT environment and a method for transmitting/receiving paging information. A terminal, which is capable of establishing a radio connection through a first radio interface by a first radio protocol and a radio connection through a second radio interface by a second radio protocol, may determine the best radio interface on the basis of predetermined conditions, perform a TA update through the best radio connection interface, and transmit/receive paging information through the best radio connection interface.

A method and apparatus of acquiring information on a primary radio access technology (RAT) system in a wireless communication system is provided. An entity of a secondary RAT system transmits a request for information on the primary RAT system to a multi-RAT device, and upon transmitting the request, starting a waiting timer which has a default value. If it is determined that the information on the primary RAT system cannot be acquired, by the multi-RAT device, until the waiting timer expires, the entity of the secondary RAT system reconfigures the waiting timer by a fixed value or a dynamic value.
