摘要： System(s) and method(s) are provided for notification of registration of a mobile device with femto coverage for firmware content management. An attachment component that administers location of mobile devices or a femto access point (AP) conveys a notification to a network platform that manages firmware content updates when a mobile device for which firmware update is available hands off from wireless macro coverage onto femto coverage through the femto AP. The notification is triggered in response to firmware update notification received by the attachment component, or an update flag received by the femto AP. Upon reception of the notification, to exploit wireline bandwidth, the network platform delivers firmware content(s) update through backhaul link to the femto AP to which the mobile device is registered. Femto APs not provisioned to serve a mobile device can be incentivized to authorize the mobile device for coverage and thus facilitate firmware updates.

摘要： A phone call is enhanced by the addition of localized information. In an example embodiment, a call is placed between a first device and a second wireless device. The call enhancement system is employed to determine a specific geographic location of the second wireless device. The system then abstracts the specific geographic location of the second wireless device into a general geographic location of the second wireless device. The degree of abstraction employed is determined by reference to a configurable privacy setting. The system retrieves content associated with the general geographic location of the second wireless device and packages it for transmission to the first device. The content is transmitted to the first device for presentation on a display of the first device.

摘要： Systems and methods for managing the status of participants of a tele-networking meeting are disclosed. During a tele-networking meeting, a network device may monitor the talk time of each participant of the meeting. If a participant's talk time exceeds the target talk time, the network device may prompt the chair, and the chair may take action. Action may include managing a participants status by muting, disconnecting, or spinning the participant off into a subconference. Additionally, during a tele-networking meeting, a chair may also create a subconference on network device. Thus, the chair may be able to spin off participants of a tele-networking meeting into a subconference controlled by a subchair.

摘要： Call replay systems and methods are disclosed. A call replay system can record a telephonic communication and replay the recorded communication upon request. The entire communication may be recorded, or only a portion, such as the most recent few minutes. The entire recording can be transmitted to a requester, or only a portion. The recording may be altered before it is transmitted to a requestor. Alterations may include actions taken to reduce playback time, such as removing spaces in the recording where no conversation is taking place, or speeding up the recording. Other alterations may include adjusting the sonic characteristics of the recording, translating the recording, or transcribing the recording to create a text version.

For example, one disclosed embodiment comprises a touch-sensitive device including a display screen, a laser, and a scanning mirror configured to scan light from the laser across the screen. The touch-sensitive device also includes a position-sensitive device and optics configured to form an image of at least a portion of the screen on the position-sensitive device. A location of an object relative to the screen may be determined by detecting a location on the position-sensitive device of laser light reflected by the object.
