Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding transmission configuration indication (TCI) reselection (e.g., due to some bandwidth part (BWP) switching scenarios). An exemplary method generally includes configuring a UE with TCI state information for communication via multiple BWPs, wherein the TCI state information indicates quasi co-location (QCL) assumptions of at least first and second types and determining whether to reconfigure the TCI state of the UE to reflect a BWP switch, based on one or more rules that define BWP switching for reference signals (RSs) of at least one of the QCL assumption types without TCI state reconfiguration. Other aspects and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for utilizing positioning reference signals (PRS) in full duplex scenarios. An example method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a positioning reference signal in a time slot, wherein the positioning reference signal spans a first frequency bandwidth, transmitting a signal in a second frequency bandwidth during the time slot, wherein the second frequency bandwidth includes frequencies within the first frequency bandwidth, and processing the positioning reference signal received in the first frequency bandwidth excluding the frequencies in the second frequency bandwidth.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support sidelink coherency management, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sidelink reference signal to a second UE on an active bandwidth part (BWP) or on a first component carrier (CC), the sidelink reference signal associated with a subsequent transmission of a sidelink message on the active BWP or on the first CC. The UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches to a second active BWP or transmits a second sidelink message on a second CC prior to transmitting the sidelink message. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches between full-duplex mode and/or a half-duplex mode prior to or concurrent with transmitting the sidelink message. Based on the determination, the UE may transmit the sidelink message according to a first set of coherency transmission characteristics.

Abstract: The positioning capabilities of a User Equipment (UE) are stored in a core network to reduce positioning latency when the UE indicates that its positioning capabilities are stable and/or are long term valid. The UE may provide its positioning capabilities to a location server during a location session along with an indication of whether the positioning capabilities are stable. The location server may enable storage of the positioning capabilities for the UE in the core network, e.g., in the location server or another entity in the core network such as Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), if there is an indication that the positioning capabilities are stable. The AMF may include a UE identifier in location requests with which the location server may retrieve the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the location server or may include the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the AMF.

Abstract: The transmission and reception group delay in a front end structure of a mobile device may be determined using closed loop calibration. The closed loop may be a near field radiated closed loop between pairs of antennas in an antenna array of the mobile device. The delay based on time of transmission and time of reception may be measured for a plurality of pairs of antennas, from which the transmit and receive group delay within a single path may be determined. The propagation delay of the signal between antennas may be included in the group delay calibration for increased accuracy. In another implementation, a conducted closed loop, e.g., in the transceiver or in a radio frequency switching network may be used to calibrate the group delay. Pre-characterization of the delay caused by components between the closed loop and antennas may be included in the group delay calibration for increased accuracy.
