摘要: A brake apparatus has two switching elements in an initial check function section, and detects a broken wiring failure of an actuator by turning on only one of the two switching elements. Therefore, during the initial check, a drive current does not flow through the actuator. Thus, it becomes possible to perform the initial check without operating the actuator. By making it possible to perform the initial check without operating the actuator in this manner, it becomes possible to prevent occurrence of the problem of rush current occurring when the actuator is operated for a short time and the problem of the switching elements being destroyed.

摘要: A communication control device includes an RM cell receiving unit which receives an incoming RM cell from a source terminal via a forward transmission line. A point-to-multipoint RM cell transmitting unit overwrites, when a congestion at a downstream portion of an ATM-based network is detected, a congested-condition ER value and a congestion notification data to the incoming RM cell received by the RM cell receiving unit, and transmits a point-to-multipoint RM cell, having the congested-condition ER value and the congestion notification data, to an upstream communication device via a backward transmission line, so that a state of the congestion is notified to the upstream communication device.

摘要: Fluorescent particles strongly fluorescing upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays, as well as a process for producing the same, are provided. A water-insoluble fluorescent dyestuff and/or pigment fluorescing upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays and a powdery material including starch, cellulose, other polysaccharides and sugars are mixed and granulated. The surface of granules of the powdery material may be coated with the fluorescent dyestuff and/or pigment. In granulation or coating, a resin having reactive groups reacting with the hydroxyl groups of the powdery material is used in combination, whereby particles excellent in water resistance can be obtained. Further, the interaction between an anionic binder contained in the granules and a cationic material contained in the coating layer or between a cationic binder contained in the granules and an anionic material contained in the coating layer can be utilized to confer water resistance on the particles. By inclusion of the fluorescent particles in paper, there can be provided anti-falsification paper wherein the particles fluorescing in a specific hue can be clearly visually recognized upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays.

摘要: An RM cell extractor extracts an RM cell, and outputs the RM cell to the CPU. The CPU computes a transmission-rate control parameter (for example, ICR) using the PCR, etc. set in the RM cell, and outputs the result to an RM cell inserter. The RM cell, inserter compares the transmission-rate control parameter sen in the RM cell with the transmission-rate control parameter input from the CPU, and rewrites the transmission-rate control parameter in the RM cell when it is larger than the transmission-rate control parameter input from the CPU.

摘要: The ratio detecting unit detects, upon stoppage of printing, a fixing control ratio K which represents a ratio of time during which the fixing unit was controlled to the printing temperature in a certain period of time in the past. The predicting unit predicts a fan driving time Tf after stoppage of printing in response to the thus detected fixing control ratio K. The fan control unit rotation-controls the cooling fan 42 during printing, keeps the fan controlling status for printing for a fan driving time Tf upon stoppage of printing, and upon lapse of the fan driving time Tf, fan stoppage or high-speed rotation is switched over to low-speed rotation.
