An image forming apparatus includes: a transfer unit configured to transfer a toner image to a recording medium at a transfer nip; a fuser unit configured to heat and pressurize at a fuser nip the recording medium to which the toner image has been transferred by the transfer unit, to fuse the toner image to the recording medium; and a pressing unit configured to press both edge portions of the recording medium in a width direction between the transfer nip and the fuser nip so that a central portion of the recording medium in the width direction becomes lower than the both edge portions of the recording medium in the width direction.

A printing device is described in which there is a media guide that is arranged to guide a printable media substrate from an upstream media path towards an input of the printing device or away from an output of the printing device towards a downstream media path. The media guide is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the media guide is arranged to guide the printable media along a respective media path. In the second position, which is spaced apart from the first position, the media guide forms a buffer region into which a variable amount of media substrate can collect.

A novel rubber composition is provided, which contains an EPDM, a peroxide crosslinking. agent and amorphous silica in combination, and can be imparted with a light color such as white or a non-black color and formed into a sheet conveying roller excellent in mechanical properties because the crosslinking of the EPDM is not inhibited. A sheet conveying roller formed from the rubber composition is also provided. The rubber composition contains a rubber component including an EPDM, a peroxide crosslinking agent, not less than 10 parts by mass of amorphous silica based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and calcium carbonate. The sheet conveying roller (1) is formed from the rubber composition.

The fixed member includes a second engaging portion for engaging with the first engaging portion.
