摘要: Methods and devices for forming painted circuits using multiple layers of electrically conductive paint. In one aspect, a painted circuit includes a substrate (111) and one or more paint layer (106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 120, 122) applied to the substrate, where the one or more paint layers each form an electrical component of the painted circuit. A given paint layer of the one or more paint layers includes a conductive paint formulation having a resistance that is defined by a concentration of conductive material that is included in the conductive paint formulation and a thickness of the given paint layer, and lower concentrations of the conductive material included in the conductive paint formulation provide a higher resistance than higher concentrations of conductive material.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mechanoluminescent material which can be exhibit brighter luminescence compared to traditional SAO mechanoluminescent material even with respect to small strains and which has a relatively high mechanoluminescent capability even when left to stand for a long period of time after excitation. Provided is a strontium aluminate mechanoluminescent material containing Zr ions, characterized in that the Zr ions are contained in a reduced state, the content of the Zr ions is 10 mol % or less, and in a thermoluminescence measurement, one or more luminescence peaks are observed at a temperature of 100° C. or higher.

摘要: There is provided a paint including a pigment, a carrier liquid, a binder, one or more additives, and a taggant corresponding to the one or more additives. The taggant is provided in an amount up to substantially 0.1% by weight of the paint. The taggant is excitable by infra-red or UV light at one wavelength to emit light at one or more other wavelengths, the emission wavelength or spectrum of the taggant being indicative of the additive(s) in the paint. A method of authenticating the paint on a substrate is also provided.

摘要: An article that includes a fluorescent composition having at least one of a fluorescent sensor compound and organic reporter molecules encapsulated in a microsphere structure. When encapsulated, the fluorescent sensor compound and the organic reporter molecules are distributed in a liquid organic matrix. When non-encapsulated, the remaining one of the fluorescent sensor compound and the organic reporter molecules reside in the matrix. In response to a force applied to the composition sufficient to break at least a portion of the microsphere structure, the fluorescent sensor compound and the organic reporter molecules are transformed into a non-reversible fluorescent state exhibiting a quantum yield greater than 0.2. The fluorescent state is objectively visually verifiable without physically contacting the composition.

摘要: A liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device are provided. The liquid crystal display panel comprises a liquid crystal layer containing reactive monomers, a backlight layer disposed on a side of the liquid crystal layer and used to emit backlight to the liquid crystal layer, and a light conversion film layer disposed between the backlight layer and the liquid crystal layer and used to absorb ultraviolet light in the backlight. The present disclosure can improve the display quality of liquid crystal display panels by the above method.

摘要: A painted vehicle trim component such as a spoiler, side-view mirror housing, or other vehicle body part is provided with electroluminescent paint to emit light from its surface. The trim component includes a substrate having a mounting surface for attaching to the vehicle. A conductor body is at least partially embedded in the substrate to provide a conductive surface exposed externally of the substrate. A conductive wire is crimped to the conductor body and is adapted to connect to an electrical power source remotely from the vehicle trim component. A conductive bus bar paint layer is deposited over the substrate and onto the exposed conductive surface of the conductor body. A light-emitting paint layer deposited over the substrate is disposed relative to the conductive paint layer such that light is emitted when an electrical signal is received at the conductive wire.
