Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a session management method, an access management function device, and a session management device. The method carried out by an access and mobility management network element includes: obtaining subscription data of a terminal in a first communications network and subscription data of the terminal in a second communications network, where the subscription data of the terminal in the first communications network includes a DNN, and the subscription data of the terminal in the second communications network includes an APN corresponding to the DNN; allocating a bearer identifier to a bearer in a PDN connection corresponding to the APN; receiving a flow identifier that is of a flow in a PDU session corresponding to the DNN and that is sent by a session management network element; and sending the bearer identifier and the flow identifier to the terminal.

The method includes determining, by a first network-side device, a status of a data service switch of UE, and sending, by the first network-side device, a first notification message to a second network-side device when the data service switch of the UE is turned off, where the UE is already registered with a network, the first notification message includes first instruction information and an identity of the UE, and the first instruction information instructs the second network-side device to skip charging for data packets of the UE flowing through the second network-side device.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a network handover method, where after UE in an LTE network requests circuit switched fallback CSFB, an MME instructs an eNB to move the UE from the LTE network to a 2G or 3G network, and requests an MSC to hand over the UE from the LTE network to a CS domain of the 2G or 3G network for the CSFB, so that the 2G or 3G network allocates a CS domain resource to the UE. After handing over to the CS domain, the UE may perform a CS domain call. By using embodiments of the present invention, an access delay is reduced when the UE accesses the CS domain of the 2G or 3G network, duration of an entire voice call is shortened, and user experience is improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus, and system for a handover to a circuit switched domain. The method includes: selecting an MSC capable of both CSFB and SRVCC for a UE; and selecting, if a location service of a CS domain triggers an SRVCC procedure for the UE when the UE has a VOIP service in progress, the MSC capable of both CSFB and SRVCC in the SRVCC procedure, so that the UE, after being handed over to the CS domain, accesses the MSC and implements the location service of the CS domain. The apparatus includes: a first selecting module and a second selecting module. The system includes a UE and the apparatus. The embodiments of the present invention enable the UE with the VOIP service in progress to be correctly handed over to the CS domain and implement the location service.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, an apparatus and a system for device discovery. The method includes: acquiring, by a first device, a user identification of a target user, and acquiring, according to the user identification of the target user, broadcast information of a second device which the target user logs in; when broadcast information of another device is monitored through a D2D function, matching, by the first device, the monitored broadcast information with the broadcast information of the second device, and if the match is successful, determining, by the first device, that the second device and the first device are within a preset distance. According to the present invention, the accuracy of discovering a short distance user is improved and, thus, the problem in the prior art that the accuracy of discovering a user in a short distance cannot be guaranteed by using a cell ID is solved.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a congestion control implementation method and apparatus, where the method includes: determining one or more user equipments for which single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) offloading needs to be performed; sending an SRVCC offload message to an E-UTRAN NodeB serving the one or more user equipments, so that when triggering an SRVCC handover procedure, the E-UTRAN NodeB switches the one or more user equipments from a Long Term Evolution (LTE) domain to a circuit switched (CS) domain. When the SRVCC handover procedure is completed, the one or more user equipments can be switched from VoLTE user equipments to VoCS user equipments. In this way, LTE cell load can be alleviated and QoS of the one or more user equipments can be guaranteed.
