Abstract: Methods and a system of capture and regeneration of a network data using a virtual software switch are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method includes capturing a network data using a virtual software switch, a processor, and a memory. The network data is captured to perform a network visibility analysis and the network data is communicated to at least one port of the virtual software switch. The method includes forming a stored network data in a memory. The method also includes regenerating the stored network data to form a reconstructed data.

Abstract: A scrub brush-sponge includes a base provided with a recessed peripheral lip, which has a plurality of attenuated regions configured to minimize the resistance of the base to external bending forces, and a sponge coupled to the base and made from polymeric material, which may have as low a PPI as 10. The sponge is configured so that it can effectively surround at least a substantial peripheral portion of instruments or portions to be treated with fluid, which is contained within the sponge, without applying substantial external forces to the base. A flexible layer made of woven or non-woven bonded polymeric fibers is on a scrubbing surface of the sponge and provides an enhanced scrubbing feature. An abrasive may be included on the flexible layer to further enhance the scrubbing feature.

Abstract: A process of managing printing devices at distributed sites, carried out by a contractor for a client. A database portal is provided which is continuously accessible provides a visual display of the performance of the printing devices, and includes the usage and cost of using the printing devices. The database is regularly updated. The contractor regularly monitors the status and usage of the printing devices and associated software and services through the database and uses the information in the database to optimize performance of the printing devices, including phasing in and out printing devices of different manufacturers.

Abstract: A rotating machine, has a rotary component, which includes a memory device for storing data relating to the past use of the component. The data are associated with rotational speed and ambient temperature, which are detected by detectors either on or off the rotary component. The stored data may be the raw temperature and speed data as sampled over time, which are then used to derive values of low-cycle fatigue and creep damage. These fatigue and creep values are, in turn, correlated with the load profiles of the component to arrive at a value of elapsed lifespan for the component. Alternatively, the stored data may be the fatigue and creep values and/or, preferably, values of elapsed and remaining lifespan of the component. In a second embodiment the detectors are located on the machine casing along with an evaluation unit.
