Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network entity, a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration. The UE receives, from a serving base station, a measurement gap (MG) configuration. The UE determines that one or more transmission properties of one or more resources should be modified and transmits PRS modification information to the network entity based on the one or more transmission properties of one or more PRS resources to be modified. The network entity may be a location server or location management function.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits a first signal for positioning (RS-P) (e.g., SRS, etc.) on a first link from the UE to a wireless network node (e.g., BS, UE, etc.). The UE receives, from the wireless network node, location assistance data that comprises information that indicates a line of sight (LOS) condition associated with the first link. The UE measures a second RS-P on a second link from the wireless network node to the UE that is reciprocal to the first link. The UE performs one or more positioning measurements, determines a location estimate of the UE, or both, based in part on the reception of the second RS-P on the second link and the indicated LOS condition, the indicated LOS condition associated with the second link based on link reciprocity between the first and second links.

Abstract: Techniques for communication by a user equipment (UE) are disclosed. Techniques can include determining a positioning state information (PSI) report to transmit, where the PSI report comprises positioning-related information, and selecting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource with which to transmit the PSI report, where the selected PUCCH resource comprises a number of resource blocks (RBS). Techniques can further include determining whether to transmit the PSI report using the selected PUCCH resource, based on: the number of RBS, a size of uplink control information (UCI) to be transmitted using the selected PUCCH resource, the selected PUCCH resource being configured with a capability to include both the PSI report and a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK), or the selected PUCCH resource being configured to include only one or more PSI reports, and optionally one or more CSI reports, as a payload, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: In an aspect, a first base station (e.g., Rx gNB) receives, from a radar controller, a configuration of UL T-F resources for the first base station to receive at least one radar signal from a second base station. The first base station further determines power control parameter(s) associated with the at least one radar signal, at least one UL transmission, or a combination thereof. The first base station performs, based on the power control parameter(s), action(s) to mitigate impact by the at least one radar signal to the at least one UL transmission, or by the at least one UL transmission to the at least one radar signal, or a combination thereof. The first base station measures the at least one radar signal on the set of UL T-F resources in accordance with the configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration for communications on a set of cells. The UE may determine that signals transmitted on the set of cells may be spatially quasi co-located based on the CA configuration and a predetermined relationship rule. For example, the UE may determine that the signals are spatially co-located based on receiving multiple synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) that have a same SSB index, receiving a common SSB, assuming that an SSB and reference signals sourced by the SSB are spatially quasi co-located, receiving a signal from a particular cell of the set of cells, or receiving a common spatial QCL relationship during a configured period of time. Once the spatial QCL relationship is determined, the UE may receive the signals transmitted on the set of cells based on the spatial QCL relationship.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support a two-step reporting procedure for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration adjustment. A base station may transmit to a user equipment (UE) control information indicating a subset of DMRS configurations to be addressed for DMRS configuration selection and reporting. As a part of channel state feedback (CSF) evaluation procedures the UE may identify link quality characteristics and spectral efficiency metrics corresponding to the subset of DMRS configurations and determine a preference for a configuration change from the currently used DMRS configuration (which is represented by DMRS configuration determined from channel state information (CSI) reference slot) to a DMRS configuration of the subset based on the link spectral efficiency metrics comparison. The UE may transmit to the base station, a report comprising an indication of a UE request for the configuration change and in response, the base station may schedule the UE to report one or more selected DMRS configurations most convenient for the UE channel and reception conditions.

Abstract: The techniques described herein provide procedures at user equipment (UEs) for performing channel state information (CSI) reporting and sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions based on an ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) block error rate (BLER) target and for reliably receiving PDCCH transmissions. A method may include identifying a reference number of tones for an overhead channel of a transport block and segmenting the transport block into a code block based at least in part on the reference number of tones for the overhead channel. In some examples, a code block indicator or the reference number of tones may be transmitted on a control channel. Another method may include receiving a code block size indicator associated with a code block of a transport block, decoding the code block based at least in part on the code block size indicator and assembling the transport block based at least in part on the decoded code block. In some examples, the code block size indicator may be received using a control channel.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for handling of radio frequency front-end group delays (GDs) for round trip time (RTT) estimation. In an aspect, a network entity determines information indicating a network total GD and a user equipment (UE) determines information indicating a UE total GD. The network entity transmits one or more RTT measurement (RTTM) signals to the UE, each including a RTTM waveform. The UE determines one or more one or more RTT response (RTTR) payloads for one or more RTTR signals, each including a RTTR waveform. The UE transmits the RTTR signal(s) to the network entity. For each RTTR signal, a transmission time of the RTTR waveform and/or the RTTR payload is/are determined based on the UE total GD. The network entity determines a RTT between the UE and the network entity based on the RTTM signal(s), the RTTR signal(s), and the information indicating the network total GD.
