Abstract:
A hinge damper is configured to be adhered to a door hinge of the furniture having a door to attenuate impact and is designed in a small size but to attenuate a large amount of impact. In the hinge damper, first and second seals are formed in an oil seal to prevent air from being introduced. A cross rib is formed on a piston to absorb a larger amount of impact with a small size. The hinge damper can be sized as small as a size of a screw used for fixing the hinge.
Abstract:
A glass door hinge having an internal door stop arrangement comprises: a housing; a mount for coupling the housing to a support member; a pair of clamps; an axial spindle; and a plurality of biasing members arranged to engage the spindle to return the clamps to one of a plurality of positions selected from a closed position and one or more opened positions; wherein the spindle has a plurality of centering surfaces; each biasing member being arranged to apply a force to a respective centering surface to centre the clamps in one or more of said positions.
Abstract:
A catcher (2) provided in a door frame H′ for capturing a striker body 1 moved from a near front side F when a door D′ is rotated toward a reference position; a braking device (5); and a linkage device (3) for both are provided. The catcher (2) is provided to be reciprocatingly rotatable between a standby position and a rotated position, captures the striker body (1) at the standby position, and rotates forward to the rotated position. Braking of the braking device (5) is applied to a rotation toward the rotated position of the catcher (2) through the linkage gear member (30).
Abstract:
The hinge structure for a furniture with a foldable shelf (1) reversibly turnable downwards from a closing position of the furniture to a substantially horizontal opening position comprises a first and a second rocker arm (2, 3) hinged at their ends by means of a first, second, third and fourth pin (4, 5, 6, 7) to a first plate (8) able to be fixed to a stationary portion (9) of the furniture and to a second plate (10) able to be fixed to the shelf (1), first decelerating means (11) mainly of the final portion of the opening stroke of the shelf (1) independently from second decelerating means (12) mainly of the initial portion of the opening stroke of the shelf (1).
Abstract:
A rotatably supported door including a hinge including a stationary hinge portion, a leaf hinge portion, which is pivotable about the stationary hinge portion, and a rotating shaft passing through the stationary hinge portion and the leaf hinge portion. The rotating shaft cooperates with an opening and/or closing damping device.
Abstract:
A door closer with a self-powered control unit is disclosed. The control unit for the door closer includes a drive gear configured to rotate in response to movement of a door, and a chain arranged to cooperate with the drive gear to produce linear motion in response to rotation of the drive gear. At least one gear creates rotational motion from the linear motion of the chain to turn a generator and generate electricity to power the control unit. In some embodiments, a set of clutch gears is disposed between the chain and the gear creating the rotational motion from the chain so that only one direction of the rotational motion is transferred to the generator in response to movement of the door in any direction. The control unit can additionally include a power management circuit to store energy from the generator.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an actuator (1), comprising an output member (6); a resilient element (8) connected to said output member (6) so as to urge it in a first direction; and an hydraulic rotation damper (5) with a closed cylinder cavity, a rotational damper shaft which extends into the cylinder cavity, and a piston dividing the cylinder cavity into a first side and a second side. Within the rotation damper (5), the rotational movement of the damper shaft is converted into a translational movement of the piston along a longitudinal axis of the shaft. A restricted fluid passage communicates said first and second sides. The damper shaft is connected over a gearing (10, 15, 17) to the output member (6) and resilient element (8) of the actuator for damping movement of said output member (6) in said first direction. The present invention relates to both rotational and linear actuators as well as to a closing mechanisms for hinged members, such as doors, gates, or windows, comprising such actuators.
Abstract:
A furniture hinge with a door-leaf attachment part (1) for fastening to a door leaf (36) and a carcass attachment part (2) connected to the hinge so that it can pivot for fastening to a furniture carcass (37). At least one functional unit (3) influences a pivoting movement between the door-leaf attachment part (1) and the carcass attachment part (2). The carcass attachment part (2) has a first component (4) and at least one second component (5), and the first component (4) is supported on the second component (5) at least by at least one adjustment device (6), and a relative position of the first component (4) to the second component (5) can be adjusted with the adjustment device (6). The functional unit (3) has a first functional element (8) and at least one second functional element (9), the first functional element (8) is supported so that it can move relative to the second functional element (9), and the first functional element (8) is fastened to or supported on the adjustment device (6).
Abstract:
A push-out style window assembly including window hardware for frictionally retaining an open position of the window under typical loading conditions. A push-out style window assembly generally includes a friction hinge assembly including a track, a sash arm, a support arm, and a friction arm. The friction arm can include an adjustable and/or detachable slide enabling adjustment of a frictional resistance between the friction slider and the support arm. Using the friction arm, frictional resistance is provided so as to provide control both during opening of the window and in retaining the position of an open window.
Abstract:
A damping arrangement, in particular for displaceable furniture parts, includes a damper (1) which is provided with a tappet (2) which can be impinged upon, and which can be supported by a support element (3). The support element (3) can be positioned and/or displaced in relation to the tappet (2).
