    Abstract: A policy adjustment system changes a quality of service attribute for a user device without affecting the policy applied to the user device. The policy adjustment system applies a policy to a plurality of user devices, the policy defining one or more quality of service attributes. The policy adjustment system receives an indication that a quality of service attribute should be changed for a user device. The policy adjustment system changes the quality of service attribute for the user device without affecting the quality of service attributes for the other user devices for which the policy is applied.

    Abstract: Various arrangement of compound cellular networks that accommodate multiple cellular communication protocols are presented. A compound cellular network may connect user equipment (UE) with a data network using a first anchor point. The compound cellular network may transition the UE from the first anchor point to a second anchor point. Following the transitioning, the compound cellular network may connect the UE with the data network using the second anchor point. The UE may then be transitioned from the second anchor point to a converged anchor point of the compound cellular network. The UE may be locked to the converged anchor point while the UE is communicating with a second cellular network that communicates using the second cellular communication protocol.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling uplink power in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). An NTN station transmits a reference signal at a first time having a defined transmission power and the reference signal is received by non-terrestrial user equipment. The user equipment evaluates the reference signal and determines a first downlink loss of the reference signal by calculating a difference between a measured power level of the received reference signal and the defined transmission power. The NTN station transmits a communication signal at a second time and is received by the user equipment, which estimates a second downlink loss of the communication signal based on the first downlink loss and a power level of the communication signal. A first uplink loss is estimated based on the second downlink loss, and the user equipment adjusts a transmission power of its transmitter based on the first uplink loss.

    Abstract: A subscriber identity module (SIM) card includes a housing, a printed circuit board contained within the housing, and a plurality of metallic contact pads on a surface of the printed circuit board. At least one contact pad of the plurality of metallic contact pads comprises an enclosed, interior portion. The SIM card further includes a corrosive chemical agent contained within the interior portion. The corrosive chemical agent reacts chemically with the at least one metallic contact pad, in the presence of oxygen, to cause the at least one metallic contact pad to corrode over a period of time.

A cellular network management system may obtain performance data from cellular network components of a cellular network over time. The cellular network management system may analyze the performance data from the plurality of cellular network components to create a cellular network model indicative of performance of discrete portions of the cellular network over time. A service request may be received from an external entity that defines quality of service (QoS) parameters. A cellular network access conditions package may be created that defines conditions under which the external entity is eligible to utilize the cellular network.     Abstract: Embodiments of devices, systems and processes for substantially simultaneous payment verification using multi-factor authentication are described. A system may include a user payment system (UPS), a point of sale system (POS) communicatively coupled to the user payment system, and an issuing bank system (IBK) communicatively coupled to at least the POS. The IBK system may include an IBK hardware processor configured to execute first non-transient computer executable instructions including instructions for establishing a direct connection between the IBK and the UPS. The instructions may also include those for communicating, using the direct connection, a query to the UPS, receiving a first response, from the UPS, to the query, and based, upon the first response, determining whether to approve a given transaction. The direct connection may use a 5G wireless link. The query may be communicated to substantially simultaneously with receipt of a request to approve the given transaction.

    Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for monitoring services provided by a service provider to a consumer using a smart contract architecture. In one example, smart contract terms are provided to a DeFi application running on a blockchain, and a smart contract (e.g., a SLA smart contract) is constructed on the blockchain. Once the service provider begins providing service to the consumer, the system may monitor the service performance of the service. If the service performance dips below a certain agreed-upon threshold based on the smart contract, a trigger event may occur. Additionally, the analysis of the service performance data may indicate a service deficiency, wherein a remedial action is suggested to the service provider to be applied. The service deficiency and remedial action may be stored on the blockchain for future review.
