    Abstract: A dust solidification apparatus that homogenizes dust components having a simple structure and capable of performing dust solidification in a stable manner includes: a storage tank that stores dust; a forming member within the storage tank, the forming member having a forming hole; and a pressurizing rod configured to freely advance and withdraw with respect to the inside of the forming hole, wherein the rod is made to advance into the forming hole to solidify dust filled therein, thereby obtaining a solidified substance, the forming hole has entry and discharge sections for the pressurizing rod and is in communication with the storage tank, and a stirring passage is provided in the outside of the discharge section to guide dust pushed out from the discharge section by the entry of the pressurizing rod into the entry section in a direction different from the discharge direction and to stir the dust.

    Abstract: A water supply and kneading system for green sand, including: a weighing hopper that stores green sand that has been weighed; a kneading machine that kneads the green sand and water; a sand loading means for releasing the green sand in the weighing hopper into the kneading machine, or shutting off the release; a water supply device that supplies water to the green sand in the kneading machine; a moisture sensor that includes a pair of electrodes and measures the moisture content of the green sand stored in the weighing hopper by measuring an electric potential difference between the electrodes; and a kneading control device that controls the amount of water supplied by the water supply device and controls the sand loading means on the basis of the output of the moisture sensor.

    Abstract: First guide pipes are disposed on both sides of blasting areas, and second guide pipes are disposed on both sides of the blasting area. A wire rod W is inserted through the first guide pipes and the second guide pipes, penetrating in a conveying direction of the wire rod W. The diameter of each of first insertion holes of the first guide pipes and second insertion holes of the second guide pipes is gradually reduced toward the downstream side in the conveying direction. The second guide pipe is installed in a state in which the downstream-side end portion in the conveying direction is inserted into the first insertion hole from the inlet side of the first guide pipe.

    Abstract: A shot treatment apparatus and a shot treatment method that can efficiently detect operational abnormalities and signs of operational abnormalities, and that can further take countermeasures based on the detected signs of operational abnormalities. This shot treatment apparatus is provided with a storage portion, a nozzle, a transport path, a compressed-air supply portion, a negative pressure gauge, an abnormality detection unit, an abnormality response unit, and a control unit. Shot material is transported to the nozzle by negative pressure generated in the interior of the nozzle. The negative pressure gauge is disposed on the transport path by which the shot material is transported. The abnormality detection unit detects “operational abnormalities” and “signs of operational abnormalities” based on detection results from the negative pressure gauge. The abnormality response unit operates based on the detection results from the abnormality detection unit. The control unit controls the operations of this abnormality response unit.

    Abstract: Provided is a technique that allows an operator or the like to easily perceive a tendency of defects which are present in molds or patterns. A display device displays a result of inspection of a plurality of molds or a plurality of patterns which are inspection target objects. The display device classifies the inspection target objects into a plurality of groups, generates, for each of the plurality of groups, a heat map image from a result of defect inspection of one or more of inspection target objects which are classified into the each of the plurality of groups, the heat map image representing a spatial distribution of defect occurrence frequencies; and causes a display to display one or more of the heat map images generated, the one or more heat map images corresponding to one or more groups specified by a user from among the plurality of groups.
