    Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for predicting events in which drivers fail to see curbs while the drivers are maneuvering vehicles. In one example, the apparatus receives vehicle attribute data associated with a first vehicle, map data indicating one or more attributes of a road portion including a first curb, and sensor data indicating an orientation of a first driver within the first vehicle. The apparatus causes a machine learning model to render an output as a function of the vehicle attribute data, the map data, and the sensor data. The output indicates a likelihood of which the first driver will not be able to see the first curb at the road portion when the first driver is maneuvering the first vehicle. The machine learning model is trained to predict the output based on historical data indicating events in which second drivers maneuvered second vehicles to encounter the first curb or one or more second curbs.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for traffic control and route guidance are provided. In some aspects, a method for controlling traffic includes receiving vehicle information for a vehicle navigating a location on a road network and identifying a maneuver of the vehicle at the location based on the vehicle information. The method also includes determining an intrusiveness of the maneuver made by the vehicle, and controlling traffic at the location based on the intrusiveness of the vehicle.

    Abstract: Dangerous driving events may be reported by detecting an occurrence of a dangerous event relating to the operation of a vehicle. A notification message of the dangerous event may be generated involving a time of occurrence of the dangerous event, a location of the dangerous event, and an event type of a plurality of event types for the dangerous event. The notification message may then be transmitted to communicate the occurrence dangerous driving event and information related to the dangerous driving event.

    Abstract: A system, a method and a computer program product are provided for evaluating quality of data, such as sensor data and map data, using a machine learning model. The system may include at least one memory configured to store computer executable instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the computer executable instructions to obtain first sensor features of the first sensor data associated with a road object in a first geographic region, first map features of the first map data associated with the road object and ground truth data associated with the road object. The processor may be configured to generate the machine learning model by configuring the ground truth data and calculating first information scores for each of the first sensor features and the first map features by recursively splitting each of the first sensor features and the first map features.

    Abstract: There is disclosed at least a method for receiving a road object observation associated with the road object for a first link. The first link is associated with at least one second link. A first heading data is determined for the received road object observation. A matched location is determined for the received road object observation on the at least one second link. A second heading data is determined for the received road object observation, based on the determined matched location. The road object is identified based on the determined first heading data and the determined second heading data, wherein as a result of identifying, the identified road object is either determined as associated with the first link or is determined to be not associated with the first link.
