    Abstract: An arc extinction apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a chamber unit, a division unit, a filter unit, and a cover unit. A discharge port is formed in the chamber unit such that a fluid in the chamber unit is discharged to the outside. An insertion groove is provided on inner faces of the chamber unit that face each other. The division unit is coupled to the inside of the chamber unit. In addition, the division unit divides a path of the fluid discharged through the discharge port into multiple paths. The filter unit is disposed in the discharge port and filters out at least one predetermined material from the fluid passing through the discharge port.     Abstract: Disclosed are a movable contact part and a direct current relay comprising same. The movable contact part, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises a lower yoke. The lower yoke forms a magnetic force for canceling an electromagnetic repulsive force generated between a movable contact and a fixed contact. The lower yoke comprises: a support part for supporting the movable contact; and a wing part connected to the support part. The wing part is formed so as to be thinner than the support part. According to one embodiment, the wing part is formed so as to be shorter than the support part. Thus, the total weight of the lower yoke is decreased, while the area of the lower yoke is increased, and the thickness and length of the support part may be maintained. Consequently, the lower yoke magnetic strength, operational reliability, and vibration or impact resistance may be improved.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. The magnet parts, positioned adjacent to respective stationary contacts, are configured such that surfaces facing each other have different polarities. Also, some of the plurality of magnet parts are disposed at an incline relative to other magnet parts. Thus, magnetic field is formed by the plurality of magnet parts to obliquely pass by each of the stationary contacts. The electromagnetic force generated by the magnetic field is imparted in a direction away from the central region of a direct current relay. Accordingly, the generated arc moves in a direction away from the central region of the direct current relay, and thus damage to the direct current relay can be prevented.
