    Abstract: An optical microphone includes: a light source; a first optical divider dividing light from the light source into reference light and measurement light; a second optical divider dividing the measurement light into N measurement light beams; a first emitter emitting the N measurement light beams from different positions toward a predetermined space; a first light receiver receiving the N measurement light beams having propagated through the space; a third optical divider dividing the reference light into N reference light beams; N optical couplers coupling the N measurement light beams with the N reference light beams on a one-to-one basis; N optical detectors receiving N coupled light beams and each detecting interference between the measurement light beam and the reference light beam in the corresponding coupled light beam; and a controller controlling directionality of sound pickup by performing signal processing on N detection signals from the N optical detectors.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a transmission device for transmitting data to a reception device in a communication system. The transmission device comprises circuitry which, in operation, allocates the data to a plurality of transmission time intervals, TTIs, respectively comprising a lower number of symbols than a slot and the plurality of TTIs including an initial TTI and one or more subsequent TTIs subsequent to the initial TTI, wherein the data allocated to each of the plurality of TTIs is the same, further allocates a demodulation reference signal, DMRS, to the initial TTI, and obtains a DMRS allocation for each of the subsequent TTIs indicating whether or not no DMRS is allocated to the respective TTI to be transmitted in addition to the data. The transmission device further comprises a transceiver which, in operation, transmits, within the slot, the data and DMRS in accordance with the DMRS allocation.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal, a base station, an operating method for a mobile terminal and an operating method for a base station. The mobile terminal is for communicating in a mobile communication system with a base station using at least one of a first bandwidth part, BP1, and a second bandwidth part, BP2. Both, the first and second bandwidth part BP1 and BP2 are within a system bandwidth, wherein the first bandwidth part, BP1, is smaller than the second bandwidth part, BP2. The mobile terminal comprises a transceiver which, in operation, receives a configuration of a discontinuous reception, DRX, cycle. Further, the mobile terminal comprises a processor which, in operation, configures, upon reception of the configuration of the DRX cycle, the a downlink communication during at least one of the communication periods within the DRX cycle to use a specific one of at least the first bandwidth part, BP1, and the second bandwidth part, BP2.
