    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for receiving system information in a wireless communication system including a receiver that receives system information configuration information and receives system information in predetermined subframes of a radio interface, and a controller that determines the predetermined subframes according to the received system information configuration information and controls the receiver to receive the system information in the predetermined subframes, wherein the system information configuration information includes a subframe scheduling field with a plurality of bits, each bit being associated with a subframe and representing whether or not system information is to be received in that subframe. The present disclosure further relates to a corresponding apparatus for transmitting system information and to the respective receiving and transmitting methods.

    Abstract: There are provided a user equipment, a base station, and a communication thereof. The UE operative for sidelink transmission based on base station scheduling, comprising: a receiver, operative to receive first control information from a base station; determination circuitry, operative to determine whether a shortened time interval is used for a signaling interaction of the user equipment and the base station for sidelink transmission according to the received first control information; and a transmitter, operative to transmit second control information to the base station during the signaling interaction using the shortened time interval after the determination circuitry determines that the shortened time interval is used for the signaling interaction for sidelink transmission; wherein a length of the shortened time interval is less than a length of a standard time interval.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides communication apparatus and communication method for channel estimation. The communication apparatus comprises a transmitter, which in operation, transmits a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) to one or more other communication apparatus in a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless network, the PPDU including a long training field (LTF) that facilitates the one or more other communication apparatus to estimate respective channels for respective communications with the communication apparatus; and a controller, which in operation, establishes the number of LTF symbols (NLTF) for generating the LTF in the PPDU, wherein the NLTF depends on a maximum value (NSTSMAX) of the number of space-time streams for each resource unit (RU) in the PPDU.
