Abstract: Aspects relate to measuring interference associated with sidelink communication. A UE that supports full-duplex communication may transmit on a first frequency resource and conduct self-interference measurements on a second frequency resource (e.g., a guard band) adjacent to the first frequency resource. Provisions may be made to ensure that other nearby wireless communication devices do not transmit on the second set of frequency resources when the UE is conducting an interference measurement. In a first resource allocation mode, a base station that allocates full-duplex resources for a first UE may ensure that any UEs that are near the first UE are not scheduled to transmit on a guard band when the UE is conducting an interference measurement. In a second resource allocation mode, a UE may reserve resources that are predefined with a guard band or the UE may reserve resources and use a subset of the resources for interference measurements.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide reporting of multiple feedbacks for a same transport block (TB) or a same code block group (CBG) of a signal, such as a physical downlink shared channel. Thus, in case of a failure to decode a signal via a first set of antennas, a user equipment (UE) can perform a second decoding attempt via a second set of antennas (before or after transmitting first feedback). The UE may report a result of the first decoding attempt in a first feedback, and may report a result of the second decoding attempt in a second feedback. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein also provide soft feedback (e.g., information other than a binary acknowledgment (ACK) or negative ACK (NACK)) for a transmission, such as information indicating whether a second attempt to decode the transmission is likely to be successful.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to a second wireless device using a first antenna array at the first wireless device and in accordance with a first precoder matrix. The first wireless device may receive, from the second wireless device based on the one or more reference signals, a feedback message indicating an estimated rotational misalignment, an estimated spatial misalignment, or both, between the first antenna array at the first wireless device and a second antenna array at the second wireless device. The first wireless device may then transmit a message to the second wireless device in accordance with a second precoder matrix that is modified relative to the first precoder matrix based at least in part on the estimated rotational misalignment, the estimated spatial misalignment, or both.

Abstract: Aspects relate to adaptation of the modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of a downlink transmission to a scheduled entity that overlaps in time with an uplink transmission from the scheduled entity when the scheduled entity is operating in a full-duplex mode. A transport block corresponding to the downlink transmission may include a plurality of code block groups (CBGs). When at least a portion of the CBGs overlap in time with the uplink transmission, the MCS of the entire transport block or the MCS of the overlapping CBGs may be adjusted to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. The CBGs may further be time-interleaved over a plurality of symbols allocated for the downlink transmission to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating a serving cell dormancy indication field and acknowledgement. In some implementations, a wireless communication device (e.g., user equipment), may detect a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a secondary cell (Scell) dormancy indication field. The user equipment can change states from an initial state to another state (e.g., a dormancy-like state to a non-dormancy like state) based on detecting Scell indicator field in the PDCCH. The user equipment may also transmit a hybrid-ARQ acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) in response to the detecting the PDCCH with the Scell dormancy indication field. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless communication device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may receive information indicative of sets of resources for performing a cross link interference (CLI) measurement during one or more subband full-duplex (SBFD) symbols or one or more non-SBFD symbols. Additionally, the information may indicate additional sets of resources for reporting results of the CLI measurement. The wireless communication device may perform the CLI measurement using one of the sets of resources based on whether the CLI measurement is performed in one or more SBFD symbols or one or more non-SBFD symbols. In some examples, the wireless communication device may transmit a report indicating the results of the CLI measurement using a respective additional set of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may indicate for a first device to transmit random information in the direction of an adverse device on at least partially overlapping time and frequency resources that are also used for receiving a downlink message from the base station. By transmitting the random information in the direction of the adverse device, the first device may cause entropy overhead to the adverse device, impacting an ability of the adverse device to decode portions of the downlink message transmitted to and intended for the first device. Accordingly, the first device may receive the downlink message and may concurrently transmit the random information in the direction of the adverse device on time and frequency resources that at least partially overlap with time and frequency resources used for receiving the downlink message based on receiving the indication from the base station.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for Uu and sidelink prioritization for subband full duplex UEs. The apparatus determines a priority level associated with channels that are scheduled to collide with each other.
