Provided herein is a controller for a low voltage disconnect (LVD), a method of protecting and providing a maximum or substantially maximum battery reserve coupled to a DC load bus and a power system manager. In one embodiment, the LVD controller includes an adaptive disconnect system configured to determine a variable LVD threshold voltage value and instruct the LVD to disconnect a battery reserve from a DC load bus based thereon. The variable LVD threshold voltage is determined based on a current of the battery reserve during a battery-discharge event.

A DC power system and a system controller for the DC power system are disclosed herein. The architecture of the DC power allows optimizing efficiency thereof. In one embodiment, the DC power system includes: (1) a battery configured to provide transitional DC power to a load bus of the DC power system, the battery indirectly coupled to the load bus, (2) a source connection circuit configured to conditionally connect the battery to the load bus and (3) a DC power system controller configured to direct the source connection circuit to connect the battery to the load bus in response to an outage of an AC input of the DC power system.

A round cell battery comprising a stack of substantially cylindrically-shaped electrically conductive grid plates and two or more bus bars. One or more of the bus bars is electrically connected to outer rims of a set of alternating ones of the grid plates in the stack and to a positive voltage post of the battery. A different one or more of the bus bars is electrically connected to outer rims of a different set of alternate ones of the grid plates in the stack and to a negative voltage post of the battery.
摘要:
A power distribution system comprising a stack of bus bars having through-hole openings arranged in end portions of each of the bars such that the stack of the bars are connectable to bars of an adjacent stack. One or more connectors pass through the holes in one of the end portions of the bars of the stack. The one or more connectors also pass through holes in one of the end portions of the bars of the adjacent stack. One of the end portions of the bars of the stacks are interleaved with one of the end portions of the bars of the adjacent stack.

A method for operating a power controller is provided. The method includes activating a rectifying FET upon a detection of an activation body diode conduction current occurring in the rectifying FET. The method generates an activation signal for a corresponding primary FET. The method further includes deactivating the corresponding rectifying FET upon a reception of a deactivation signal. The method further includes then deactivating the corresponding primary FET after delaying the deactivation signal, wherein the delay lessens a conduction time of a deactivation body current of the corresponding rectifying FET. The method further includes generating a deactivation signal and deactivating the corresponding rectifying FET upon a reception of the deactivation signal and deactivating the primary FET after delaying the deactivation signal. The delaying lessens a conduction time of a deactivation body current of the corresponding rectifying FET.

In one aspect, the present invention provides a latch/ejector face plate assembly for an end of an electronics chassis assembly. The face plate is pivotally couplable to a front end of an electronics chassis. The face plate has a latch/ejector that comprises a latching portion that is latchably engageable against a rear side of a latching/fulcrum flange of a electronics rack shelf when the face plate is in a closed position, and an ejector edge that is engageable against a front side of the latching/fulcrum flange when the face plate is in an open position, to thereby provide an ejection force of the electronics chassis.
