摘要： Systems and methods for encoding/decoding a 3D image are provided. The system decomposes depth map into a plurality of component depth maps (CDMs) for a plurality of depth ranges, wherein each component depth map corresponds to a focal plane of a multiple focal plane (MFP) decomposition of the image data. The system generates a plurality of component depth map focal planes (CDMFPs) by combining each respective CDM with the depth map. The system scales data in each CDMFP by a respective scaling factor. The system generates for transmission a plurality of encoded scaled CDMFP data streams for the plurality of depth ranges, wherein each respective scaled CDMFP data stream is based at least in part on a respective scaled CDMFP.

The method includes analyzing the voice communication to identify a request for content, analyzing the voice communication to identify an affirmative response to the request for content, and correlating the request for content with a first user account and correlating the affirmative response with a second user account. In response to identifying the affirmative response and based upon at least one of the first user account or the second user account, identifying from a data storage, the requested content and causing the transmission of the requested content.

The media device selects an advertisement from an advertisement database based on the speech. The media device then determines the current environment of the virtual environment and generates a virtual object that is related to the current environment. The media device overlays the selected advertisement over the generated virtual object and displays the generated virtual object in the virtual environment.

摘要： Systems and methods for generating individualized content trailers. Content such as a video is divided into segments each representing a set of common features. With reference to a set of stored user preferences, certain segments are selected as aligning with the user's interests. Each selected segment may then be assigned a label corresponding to the plot portion or element to which it belongs. A coherent trailer may then be assembled from the selected segments, ordered according to their plot elements. This allows a user to see not only segments containing subject matter that aligns with their interests, but also a set of such segments arranged to give the user an idea of the plot, and a sense of drama, increasing the likelihood of engagement with the content.

摘要： A system comprises television equipment and a number of portable electronic devices. The television equipment includes a large display and control circuitry. The control circuitry receives media content and media guidance data for display on the display. The control circuitry also includes communication components for communicating with the portable electronic devices. The portable electronic devices are operable for displaying video and communicating with the television equipment. A method comprises the steps of receiving media guidance information with a first portable electronic device; transmitting at least some of the media guidance information from the first portable electronic device to the control circuitry of the television equipment; and displaying the media guidance information from the first portable electronic device on the display of the television equipment while simultaneously displaying media content or media guidance information received from a source other than the first portable electronic device.
