    摘要: A branch pipe joint for a high pressure fluid, comprising: a joint body having a conduit therein on its axis and a branch hole formed in its circumferential wall and having a pressure receiving seat formed on the circumferential face thereof and opened to the outside; a branch pipe having a conduit to communicate with the conduit of said joint body and including a joint head formed at the end thereof and forming a pressure seat so that said branch pipe is engaged with said joint body by bringing the pressure seat thereof into abutment against the pressure receiving seat of said joint body; a joint portion made integral with or separate from said joint body; and a nut assembled in advance in said branch pipe and fastened into said joint portion against the pressure of said joint head thereby to joint said branch pipe to said main pipe. The branch hole at said joint body is formed into an elliptical hole having a longer diameter in the radial direction of said joint body and aligned with the center of the conduit of said joint body.

    摘要: A dental examination mirror is provided. The dental examination mirror includes an examination unit having a planar base wall and a side wall projecting upwardly and outwardly from the base wall. The side wall includes an edge remote from the base wall. A mirror wall is sealingly secured to the edge of the side wall and is substantially parallel to the base wall. The surface of the mirror wall facing away from the base wall are reflective to permit observation of regions in an intraoral cavity. At least portions of the mirror wall enable transmission of light. A light source and a heat source are disposed in the examination unit between the base wall and mirror wall. Light from the light source will be transmitted through at least portions of the mirror wall to illuminate at least portions of the intraoral cavity without shining light toward the eyes of the dentist or patient. The heat source in the examination unit prevents fogging of the mirror.

    摘要: A wind directing device for an automotive engine cooling fan includes a shroud surrounding the fan at the outlet side of a radiator. An undercover is disposed below the shroud. A guide wall is disposed below and near the front side of the automotive engine. The guide wall protrudes downwardly beyond the undercover and is bent or curved backwardly. The wind directing device effectively directs wind backwardly of the engine at both high and low engine speeds. Thus, the wind directing device prevents the recirculation phenomenon, enhances the fan flow efficiency and improves the cooling effect without any intermission.

In this joint structure, the branch member includes a spherical spigot end surface at its distal end, an annular flange axially spaced away from the spigot end surface, and a conical surface converging from the annular flange toward the spigot end surface.

The movable unit carries a twisting motor, a bending/twisting motor, and a support plate projecting upright. A pipe retaining unit is mounted on the projecting end portion of the support plate for retaining a pipe to be worked and is rotated by a twisting plate by a predetermined angle within 360 degrees on the axis of the retained pipe. A bending roller unit is mounted on the twisting plate for bending the pipe, which is held by the twisting plate, by a predetermined angle in a plane normal to the twisting plate. A first rotation transmitting train is arranged on one side of the support plate for transmitting the rotation of the twisting motor to the twisting plate. A second rotation transmitting train is arranged on the other side of the support plate for transmitting the rotation of the bending/twisting motor to the bending roller unit.

    摘要: A temperature sensitive fluid-type fan coupling device is provided. The device includes a rotating shaft having a hollow housing rotatably mounted on one end. The housing is divided into an oil basin chamber and a torque transmission chamber. A driving disc is securely mounted to the driving shaft and is disposed within the torque transmission chamber of the housing. The driving disc is substantially hollow and includes a plurality of radially aligned walls extending inwardly from outer circumferential portions thereof. A through hole extends through a central portion of a side wall of the driving disc opposite the rotating shaft. A plurality of apertures extend through the opposed side wall of the driving disc at radially outer positions thereon. Oil flow into and out of the hollow driving disc is controlled to avoid accompanying rotation during the short period of time after starting the engine.
