The plunger has at least a first part with a larger size and a second part with a smaller size. The first part of the plunger is positioned outside of the pressure vessel in all valve configurations.

    摘要: The invention relates to a pulverized coal burner for a steam generator. The pulverized coal burner has a fuel duct, through which pulverized coal is conveyed with the aid of a carrier gas. The pulverized coal emerges together with the carrier gas at a fuel duct outlet. The pulverized coal burner furthermore has at least one core duct and at least one secondary duct. Air or oxygen flows through the core duct and the secondary duct, emerging at the core duct outlet and at the secondary duct outlet. The core duct outlet, the secondary duct outlet and the fuel duct outlet together form a burner outlet. The pulverized coal burner has at least one plasma ignition torch embodied integrally with the pulverized coal burner. The outlet of the at least one plasma ignition torch is arranged in the plane of the burner outlet or offset downstream in relation to the direction of flow of the pulverized coal. The plasma flame produced by the plasma ignition torch is thus located outside the fuel duct.

    摘要: A combustion system having a furnace defining a combustion chamber includes a first burner disposed at an upper elevation of the combustion chamber and a second burner and a third burner disposed at a lower elevation of the combustion chamber. A first duct extends vertically to convey therein a fuel flow of gas and pulverized fuel. A second duct branches from the first duct to the first burner to convey a first portion of the fuel flow, which is fuel lean, to define a fuel lean flow, wherein a second portion of the fuel flow passes through the first duct as a fuel rich flow. A third duct includes one end disposed longitudinally within the first duct. An impeller is disposed within the first duct upstream of the branching of the second duct and downstream of the one end of the third duct disposed in the first duct. The impeller includes a plurality of blades to direct outwardly the pulverized fuel of the fuel rich flow to provide a fuel reduced content flow passing through the second duct to the second burner, and a fuel concentrated content flow passing through first duct to the first burner.

    摘要: The invention relates to a damper for reducing pulsations in a gas turbine, which includes an enclosure, a main neck extending from the enclosure, a spacer plate disposed in the enclosure to separate the enclosure into a first cavity and a second cavity and an inner neck with a first end and a second end, extending through the spacer plate to interconnect the first cavity and the second cavity. The first end of the inner neck remains in the first cavity and the second end remains in the second cavity. A flow deflecting member is disposed proximate the second end of the inner neck to deflect a flow passing through the inner neck. With the solution of the present invention, as a damper according to embodiments of the present invention operates, flow field hence damping characteristic in the second cavity constant regardless the adjustment of the spacer plate in the enclosure.
