    Abstract: Disclosed is an ECG electrode lead wire connector which provides improved electrical and mechanical coupling of the ECG electrode press stud to the lead wire, provides enhanced ergonomics to the clinician, and may alleviate patient discomfort associated with the attachment and removal of ECG leads. The connector may be engaged and disengaged with little or no force imparted to the patient or the ECG pad, which significantly minimizes the risk of inadvertent dislodgement of the pad. In one embodiment the disclosed connector provides a thumb cam lever which affirmatively engages the press stud to the connector, and provides tactile feedback to the clinician that the connector is properly engaged. In other embodiments, the connector provides a pushbutton to enable the clinician to easily engage and disengage the connector from the ECG stud. The disclosed connectors may also decrease clinician fatigue, and may provide more reliable ECG results.

    Abstract: An electrode pad packaging system including a defibrillation electrode pad, a wire and a retaining structure is disclosed. The wire extends from the defibrillation electrode pad. The retaining structure is configured to maintain the wire in a looped configuration, where the wire forms at least one loop. A radius of the loop is configured to decrease in response to movement of at least a portion of the wire away from the defibrillation electrode. A cross-section of the retaining structure may have a closed shape or may have a slot therein to allow the wire to pass therethrough. A method of packaging a defibrillation electrode is also disclosed. The method includes providing an electrode pouch, a defibrillation electrode pad, a wire and a retaining structure.

    Abstract: A stitching device useful for implanting suture in tissue, for example, cartilaginous tissue. The device has a frame and an elongated tubular member mounted thereto. A suture capture needle having a suture capture opening extends from a distal end of the tube. A needle cannula having a lumen is slidably mounted in a passage of the tubular member. Actuation of a trigger member pivotally mounted to the frame moves a distal end of the cannula needle and a section of suture contained in a lumen in the cannula needle through the suture capture opening causing the suture section to be retained in the opening.

The rod connector provides an offset or non-parallel connection between the rods that allows for the rods to match the contour of a patient's body without requiring bending of the rods.     Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an automatic external defibrillator configured to deliver electrical pulses and/or shocks to a heart of a patient during a cardiac emergency is provided and includes a housing supporting an electrical connector; a defibrillator electrode delivery system supported on the housing; and a pair of defibrillation electrode pads supported by the defibrillator electrode delivery system. Each of the pair of defibrillation electrode pads is pre-connected to the electrical connector of the housing.
