The restriction portion includes a first restriction portion and the second restriction portion disposed at an immediately downstream side of a narrowest portion of the first restriction portion. The first restriction portion gradually decreases the passage width in the airflow direction. The second restriction portion increases the passage width than the passage width at the narrowest portion in a stepped manner. The sensing portion is located in a bound in which the restriction portion is disposed.

An object of the present invention is to provide a novel stator structure in an electrical rotating machine which has a stator to one end of which an end plate provided with a bearing is fixedly mounted and a rotor rotatably supported by the bearing, in which unwanted metal particles produced during welding of the end plate to the stator are prevented from entering between the stator and the rotor. Positioning protrusions 61 are formed extending axially from the one end of the stator and positioning apertures 71 are provided in the end plate 65 for corresponding to and engaging with the positioning protrusions 61. Also, welding projections to be melted by resistance welding are arranged as located substantially on straight lines respectively extending from the rotation shaft 67 across the positioning protrusions 61 and on the outer side of the positioning protrusions 61. The end plate 65 is joined to the one end of the stator by welding at welding points 14. Unwanted metal particles produced during the resistance welding are blocked by the positioning protrusions 61 and will hardly flow towards the rotor 63.

One end of a lubricant takeout pipe (15) is in communication with the lubricant reservoir (2c) and the other end thereof is in communication with a suction chamber (14) of a scroll mechanism (3). An inlet end of the lubricant takeout pipe (15) opens at the same level as an oil-level high-limit point of the lubricant reservoir (2c) in the vicinity of a lower end of a rotor (9b). When the level of the lubricant (L) moves up to the high-limit point, an excess lubricant is introduced from the lubricant reservoir (2c) into the scroll mechanism (3), since there is produced a difference in pressure between a lower space (2b) of the casing (2) and the suction chamber (14). As a result, the level of the lubricant (L) drops.

In a parallel-mode adaptive transversal equalizer, P- and Q-channel data streams from A/D converters (1, 5) are respectively passed through the tapped-delay lines of trasversal filters (2, 6), on the one hand, and are one-symbol delayed, on the other, by delay circuits (3, 7, 66, 67) to produce (N-1) successively delayed P- and Q-channel data streams, which are respectively passed through the tapped delay lines of transversal filters (4; 63, 8; 64). In each trasversal filter, symbols appearing at successive taps of the tapped-delay line are sampled and held for a duration of N symbols to produce first and second groups of stored symbols, the stored symbols of the first group being multiplied by first tap weights and summed, producing N first equalized outputs for each channel. The stored symbols of the second are multiplied by second tap weights and summed, producing N second equalized outputs for each channel. The first equalized outputs of each channel are respectively combined by adders (10-14, 68, 69) with the second equalized outputs of the otehr channel and multiplexed (14, 15) into P- and Q-channel outputs. Correlations are detected by correlators (16-19, 70, 72) between data and error components of each of the P- and Q-channel outputs to control the first variable tap weights of associated tapped-delay lines, and correlations are detected by correlators (20-23, 71, 73) between data components of one of the P- and Q-channel outputs and error components of the other channel output to control the second variable tap weights of associated tapped-delay lines.

The lengthwise directions of the heater element and the temperature sensing element are respectively arranged to be in parallel with both thickness-wise side faces of the measurement body. Thereby, even when a flow rate of measurement air changes, an influence due to the change can be restricted from being exerted. Therefore, the maximum flow rate can be measured within the lengthwise range of the heater element from a low flow rate to a high flow rate.

Therefore, even if a compressor comes to have an elevated temperature attributed to the employment of a refrigerant made of a single substance of R32, the insulating film of the built-in motor of the compressor is hard to hydrolyze. Moreover, by setting a saturated moisture amount of polyvinyl ether at a temperature of 30° C. and a relative humidity of 80% to 5000 ppm or more, a tensile strength retention rate of the motor insulating film made of PET or PEN, which can easily be processed, can be set to 50% or more, by which the deterioration of the insulating film can be prevented. Therefore, the performance of the refrigerating apparatus can be stabilized for a long term by avoiding the breakdown of the compressor.
