Abstract:
Provided are a catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide and a method of preparing the same. The catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide includes platinum and a transition metal which exists in a bimetallic phase, and the bimetallic phase of the platinum and the transition metal is supported by a support including a vacancy of oxygen. The catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide shows much higher activity than a conventional catalyst for oxidizing carbon monoxide even at a relatively low temperature.
Abstract:
A fuel processor having a movable burner, a method of operating the fuel processor, and a fuel cell system having the fuel processor. The fuel processor includes a combustion chamber, a reformer burner, a portion of which is partially disposed inside the combustion chamber, a reformer which is heated by heat transfer from the combustion chamber, and a burner-moving apparatus that moves the reformer burner with respect to the combustion chamber. The method of operating the fuel processor includes determining the load on and a plurality of temperatures within the fuel processor and moving the reformer burner depending upon such information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus perform channel scanning in a wireless communication system. A signal intensity of an Access Point (AP) is compared with a scanning threshold, when the AP signal intensity not less than the scanning threshold, a channel scanning schedule list is generated in consideration of a scan time based on a passive channel scan scheme and a scan time based on an active channel scan scheme. The channel scanning is performed every channel scanning time, according to the channel scanning schedule list.
Abstract:

The present invention includes an SMS2PSTN service providing server for providing at least one ID information among an e-mail ID, an IM ID, a personal mobile telephone number, a general telephone number information, or a Web address related to the called party telephone number; a database for storing membership registration in-formation, charging information, SMS2PSTN service type, the e-mail ID, the IM ID, the personal mobile telephone number, the general telephone number information or the Web address; and a SMS/MMS gateway for querying with the called party telephone number extracted from the received SMS or MMS messages to the SMS2PSTN service providing server, and transmitting the converted result to the e-mail ID, the IM ID, the personal mobile telephone number, the general telephone number or the Web server.
Abstract:
Provided are a method of voice-guidance and a navigation system that guide a travel route of a mobile vehicle using a 3D sound having directivity. The method includes detecting at least one of a proceeding direction and a destination direction of a mobile vehicle base on navigation data, calculating a proceeding angle of the mobile vehicle and an angle of a destination direction based on at least one of the detected proceeding direction and the destination direction of the mobile vehicle, and generating a 3D direction-guidance sound of corresponding angle by providing the calculated angles to 3D sound technology.
Abstract:
A phrase identification system and method are provided. The method comprises: identifying one or more phrase candidates in the electronic document; selecting one of the phrase candidates; numerically representing features of the selected phrase candidates to obtain a numeric feature representation associated with that phrase candidate; and inputting the numeric feature representation into a machine learning classifier, the machine learning classifier being configured to determine, based on each numeric feature representation, whether the phrase candidate associated with that numeric feature representation is a phrase.
Abstract:
A laser irradiation apparatus for bonding a first substrate and a second substrate of a display device by melting a plurality of bonding members disposed between the first and second substrates to define cells when the display device is manufactured, the display device including light emitting elements disposed on a surface of the first substrate such that the bonding members respectively encompass lateral regions of the light emitting elements, the laser irradiation apparatus including a stage on which the first substrate is mounted, a laser oscillation member configured to irradiate a laser beam that melts the bonding members disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a scanner configured to irradiate the laser beam incident from the laser oscillation member onto the bonding members, the scanner being configured to sequentially irradiate the laser beam on portions of the bonding members.
Abstract:
A shift reactor for fuel cells, a fuel cell system employing the same, and an operating method of the same are provided. More particularly, a shift reactor for fuel cells is filled with a shift catalyst and includes an inlet through which reactants flow into the shift reactor and an outlet through which products flow out of the shift reactor. An oxygen supply duct and a valve capable of regulating the oxygen supply are positioned at the outlet side of the shift reactor. The oxygen supply allows for the temperature of the shift catalyst to be increased rapidly at startup, thereby significantly shortening the startup time of the shift reactor and thereby contributing to an improved practical operation of the fuel cell system.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a flexible display is provided. A sacrificial layer is formed on a substrate support, the sacrificial layer having an absorptivity of 1 E+02 to 1 E+06 cm−1 as a function of the wavelength of a laser. A flexible substrate is formed on the sacrificial layer. A device is formed on the flexible substrate. Laser irradiating is performed on a rear of the substrate support for detaching the sacrificial layer from the flexible substrate.
Abstract:
A fuel cell system includes a first heating structure that increases an internal temperature of the stack by passing exhaust gas of the process burner through the stack; and a second heating structure that increases the internal temperature of the stack by passing heated cooling water through the stack after the cooling water is heated by heat exchange with the exhaust gas of the process burner. Accordingly, when rapid heating of a stack is necessary like during a start up operation, a time required for the fuel cell system to reach a normal operation can be greatly reduced since the stack can be simultaneously heated using high temperature exhaust gas and heated cooling water.
