Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for adjusting a ring tone volume in a mobile communication terminal. The method implements a function by which a user can directly adjust the ring tone volume in a mobile communication terminal in consideration of circumstances. To this end, the present invention includes a user interface screen by which a user can adjust the output volume level of the ring tone which rings according to the passage of time. Thus, the present invention provides a user interface screen by which a user can adjust the output volume level of a ring tone which rings according to the passage of time, and enables the user to set the output level of the ring tone and the output time of the ring tone at a corresponding level according to predetermined intervals through the screen.

A washbasin includes: a washbasin body having a water containing space and comprising an insertion hole formed in a front surface thereof in a downward inclined direction and a drain hole formed on the bottom surface thereof; a water supply nozzle projected toward the water containing space through the insertion hole from a rear end of the washbasin body, wherein the projected portion of the water supply nozzle is rotated in a direction desired by a user so as to control a water supply direction and a water supply amount; a cold/hot water supply valve buried in a one-side edge of the washbasin body and coupled to the water supply nozzle through a pipe; and a cold/hot selection level installed on the top surface of the cold/hot water supply valve and selectively supplying cold/hot water to the water supply nozzle.
Abstract:
A system and method for evaluating performance of a microphone for long-distance speech recognition, which enables a robot to receive and respond to voices. A robot, which includes a network robot, must correctly recognize speech in order to recognize the user and to perceive its surroundings, objective evaluation criteria are required for choosing a microphone to be used in the robot. The methods include measuring a degree of attenuation of the voice, measuring a degree of distortion of the voice, and simultaneously measuring the degree of attenuation of the voice and the degree of distortion of the voice. A standard for the choice of a microphone, which can be digitalized, for a speech recognition function of a robot, permits choice of a microphone which has good sensitivity and can pick up voices without distortion when used at a large distance.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for providing an interworking service with a peripheral device in a Mobile Station (MS) supporting one or more wireless connectivity protocols are provided. Information on an execution environment of an application program for the interworking service is checked when the application program for performing the interworking service with the peripheral device is executed. A wireless connectivity protocol is selected from among the one or more wireless connectivity protocols for performing the interworking service with the peripheral device using the information on the execution environment of the application program.
Abstract:
A method and system for wireless charging using a radio wave. The method includes scanning a radio wave of an access point, determining an available charging frequency band among frequency bands, sending the access point a request for transmitting a charging radio wave at the charging frequency band, and switching power output from an antenna, to a battery circuit.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and an apparatus for informing a user of an image recognition error in an imaging system. The method includes detecting environmental factors causing errors of image recognition when image recognition is requested by the user, calculating analysis indices corresponding to the environmental factors, perceiving whether image recognition is suitably performed by checking whether the analysis indices are included in a normal range of predetermined reference values, and informing the user of the suitability or the unsuitability of image recognition.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes: forming a plurality of independent light emitting portions on a growth substrate; separating the light emitting portions from the growth substrate; mounting the light emitting portions onto a receiving substrate; and dicing the receiving substrate, onto which the light emitting portions are mounted, into a light emitting unit. Residual stress, which occurs when the light emitting portions are separated from the substrate, can be reduced, and the light emitting portions can be mounted onto the receiving substrate in a fluid state, whereby the light emitting device can be easily mass produced with excellent quality, and its manufacturing costs can be reduced.
Abstract:
A low resistance electrode and a compound semiconductor light emitting device including the same are provided. The low resistance electrode deposited on a p-type semiconductor layer of a compound semiconductor light emitting device including an n-type semiconductor layer, an active layer, and the p-type semiconductor layer, including: a reflective electrode which is disposed on the p-type semiconductor layer and reflects light being emitted from the active layer; and an agglomeration preventing electrode which is disposed on the reflective electrode layer in order to prevent an agglomeration of the reflective electrode layer during an annealing process.
