摘要： A wafer of light emitting diodes (LEDs) is laser scribed to produce a laser scribing cut. Then, the wafer is cleaned, for example by wet etching, to reduce scribe damage. Then, electrical contact layers for the LEDs are formed on the wafer that has been cleaned. Alternatively, the scribing cut may be produced by multiple etches before contact formation. Related LEDs are also described.

摘要： A vehicle for use with a plurality of interchangeable truck beds, i.e., functional units. The vehicle includes a chassis and an engine and cab mounted on the chassis. The chassis extends rearwardly from the cab from a first location to a second location at the rear end of the chassis. A first mounting interface is disposed near the first location and a second mounting interface is disposed near the second location. The mounting interfaces each include a substantially horizontal support surface and a guide member. The interchangeable truck beds include mounting structures that are secured to the mounting interfaces on the chassis. The guide members on the mounting interfaces are used to properly position the mounting structures on the chassis. The truck bed may be a dump truck bed that includes a hydraulic ram having a base structure that is secured to the first mounting interface and a hinge structure that is secured to the second mounting interface.

The nozzle assembly may further comprise a base for mounting the integral nozzle unit alignment plate, and a linear actuator connected to the base for moving the base along a linear path from a first, operating position to a second, standby position. The nozzle may be oriented to avoid visually obstructing the article receiving air flow. The nozzle may be attached to a seam sealing machine and may discharge a heated air stream of sufficient temperature to melt seam sealing tape adhesive backing to adhere such tape to fabric, and the nozzle assembly may further include a thermocouple assembly attached to the integral nozzle unit for measuring the air stream temperature near the point of discharge from the nozzle.
