    摘要: A light modulation panel is inserted into an optical path of an imaging lens composed of an image-forming optical system to make the imaging lens function as a depth-of-field-extended optical system. The light modulation panel has power that makes a peak position of defocus MTF when the imaging lens is used alone to function as the image-forming optical system and a peak position of defocus MTF when the imaging lens functions as the depth-of-field-extended optical system by insertion of the light modulation panel into the optical path of the imaging lens coincide with each other.

A notch having a circular shape is formed on the prism side of a negative lens adjacent to the prism along the outer periphery of the lens. During zooming, when the second lens group is moved to the position close to the prism, the edge of the second lens group is fitted into the notch.

    摘要: Disclosed is a mobile wireless device, which has an antenna structure for feeding a hinge core with an electric power and which can be adapted to wireless communications of low-frequency bands without enlarging a casing itself. In this wireless device, an upper casing (101) equipped with a first circuit substrate (111) and a lower casing (102) equipped with a second circuit substrate (112) having a wireless unit (118) mounted thereon are connected to open and close through a hinge unit having a conductive hinge (130). A feeding unit (113) mounted in the upper casing (101) feeds the conductive hinge (130) with an electric power from the first circuit substrate (111). A cellular antenna (150) mounted in the lower casing (102) is connected with the ground pattern of the second circuit substrate (112) at the position, where an extension (154) is separated along the axial direction of the conductive hinge (130) from a capacity coupling unit (152) arranged to confront a portion of the conductive hinge (130) and coupled capacitively to a portion of the conductive hinge (130), thereby to short-circuit the capacity coupling unit (152) and the ground pattern.

    摘要: An exhaust gas passageway of an internal combustion engine is basically provided with a main exhaust passageway, a bypass exhaust passageway, a bypass catalytic converter provided in the bypass exhaust passageway, a bypass control valve, an upstream air-fuel ratio sensor and a downstream air-fuel ratio sensor. The bypass exhaust passageway bypasses a portion of the main exhaust passageway between an upstream junction and a downstream junction. The bypass control valve opens or closes a portion of the main exhaust passageway. The upstream air-fuel ratio sensor is disposed upstream of the bypass catalytic converter to sense air-fuel ratio of an exhaust gas flowing into the bypass catalytic converter. The downstream air-fuel ratio sensor is disposed downstream of the bypass catalytic converter to sense air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing out of the bypass catalytic converter.

    摘要: A configuration where a first group having a positive refractive power and a positive second group having a positive refractive power are placed sequentially from the object side is basically used. As the first group, a wide-angle first group and a telephoto first group are selectively switched over to be placed on the optical axis, thereby switching over the focal length between the wide-angle side and the telephoto side. Since the configuration in which the first group placed on the object side is switched is employed, adherence of dust or the like to the imaging surface due to the switching of the focal length can be prevented from occurring. Each group is configured by a minimum number of lenses. The whole system has a configuration which has a reduced number of lenses, and which is small and simple.
